L&O: Crossover

~The Call~

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
Somewhat new to writing stories again, so please bear with me. This has been stuck in my head for quite some time. My thoughts, Elliott finally finds out about what happened to Liv while he was gone. Any criticism I will gladly appreciate*

SVU Pt. 1

"Hello?"
"Hey Liv"
"Elliott...what's wrong?"
"Caught a case that I need your help with...Is there some place we can talk?"
"Yea, we can talk in my office-"
"Somewhere Private?"
"Um yea, we can talk at my apartment. El is everything okay?"
"Yea yea. Noah home?"
"No, he's away at the McCanns for the summer"
"Nice. That's great, real nice. Hey listen Liv, I'll see you tonight around 5"
"Yea. Okay see you at 5"
•An hour and a half pass from the call•
"Yea, I gotchu. Let me just make sure she's prepared to hear this," Fin says carefully.
"Thanks Fin," El states.
"No problem but don't thank me too much yet," Fin rebuttals.
knock knock*
Liv looks up from her papers on her desk, "Come in".
"Hey Capt'n," Fin asks while opening the door.
"Hey, Fin. What's up" Liv says intriguingly. Usually Fin doesn't bother her unless they're on a case. For a few weeks now, their case loads have been light. Everyone has gone home right about now and it was only 4:15pm on a Sunday. But by this time, she expected anything to come up, especially if Fin was the one to enter her office.
"You busy? I have to talk to for a sec"
"Uh no, just finishing up some stuff. What's going on?" Liv takes off her glasses and slightly squints at Fin. Having her glasses on for so long, she has to adjust her eyes taking them off. She gets a wrenching gut feeling and has yet to talk to Elliott.
"Liv, as your sergeant I look out for your squad, the victims, and occasionally paperwork-"
"Fin the point"
"Getting to that. As your friend, I wanna make sure you're okay. I just got off the phone with Stabler," Fin explains.
"You talked to Stabler? About?" Liv asks eagerly. Fin and Elliott are friends but to talk moments before him and Liv. She was not getting a good feeling. In fact she was getting nervous, not some thing she feels a lot.
"Olivia the case he's working on...you're involved and it might bring back some memories. Ones you thought you forgot about. But whatever happens just know, I always got ya back," Fin says as he turns around to leave the office, closing the door softly behind him. Liv watches him grab his jacket and leave through the entrance behind her window in her office. As she clocks out to head home, she replays Fin's words like a record. So unsure of what he could have been told. What could have meant by his statement. One thing for sure...she was determined to find out.
Olivia's ringtone sets off*
"Yea Liv" Elliott answers.
"On my way now to my apartment" Liv replies.
"Meet you there in 10" El responds.
