*5:24 A.M.*

Stabler wakes up in the same position. Pictures on his side and the box open on the opposite, still on the bed. He grunts as he gets up from his uncomfortable sleeping position and rubbing his eyes. Stabler stands up stretching with a small but audible crack. He makes his way to the bathroom rubbing his head. Elliott comes out, goes to his room and starts to get ready. He heads out the door and makes his way to the OC Office.

•OC Squad Room•

Stabler pulls up to the office and parallel parks on the street. He goes in, greets everyone and makes some coffee to really start his day. Sergeant Bell enters lastly, heading into her office, putting her belongings down and taking a seat at her desk. She reviews all the case information. Elliott skips up the stairs and makes his way towards Ayanna. She looks up from the case papers, "Detective...Can I help you"
"I gotta talk to you about this case"
"Im going back over the case for the briefing we're about to give. Is there something I missed in the report?" Questions Ayanna
He gestures towards the seat in front of her. He grants his wish and gestures as well. He stomachs at the words he must give his Sergeant. Anything left out could potentially compromise the case and it wouldn't be fair to Bell after all she's done for him.
"The case is connected to a closed on from SVU" He explains, "I left a file in your drawer. No one else, at least not yet, can know about what's in there. Any questions you'll have to speak with the Captain". He gets up and heads back out to his team. As he leaves, Ayanna's questioning expression soon leaves as she takes out the file he left for her and begins skimming through the papers. She covers her mouth with a small audible gasp. She couldn't believe everything this woman had been through. A tear drops from her eye. She quickly wipes it away, puts the file back and goes out to the team to start the meeting.
"Ready?" El asks.
"Yea. Let's begin," Bell replies.
*Video call turns on*
"Hey. I'm sure the Captain briefed you guys on what's happening. I'm here to give the details to shed some more light on what and who we're dealing with. Detective Stabler, Jet, Reyes, Vargas and myself are investigating a huge Drug ring. We stumbled across them 5 months ago and Stanker has been working undercover with them," she finished. Stabler takes the next part of the conversation.
"Moartea tuturor celor ce se opun. Death to all who oppose. It's Romanian and these guys live by that code. Some serious hitters. They use women as miles to transport drugs. They force the women to have surgery, get a balloon full of cocaine or heroin stuffed in them and then are sent off. We know they have medical staff or well trained medical personnel. Unfortunately these women were raped and tortured. Some of them even murdered" he informs.
Bell jumps in,"Now the Romanian group is known to have heavy artillery and deep connections. Also keep your eyes out for anything suspicious or out of the ordinary...we may have someone else who isn't apart of the ring attacking these women."
"Like who?," Velsaco eagerly questions.
"A kid we're also investigating. Goes by the name Kieth Mayor and he's the son of DA Mayor, who is one of our victims. We believe Ms. Mayor may have had a run in with the Romanian crew and threatened her son. Even though he was in the system, his mom still stayed in contact. We think she became a drug mule for that reason. And now it looks like he's trying to get back at them for taking away his mother," Stabler implies. A few more moments of briefing before everyone sets off to carry out their orders. Bruno and Fin ask the foster parents about any information they might have. Curry and Velasco head out to question anything the victims can recall about their attack or drug balloons. Jet and Vargas search any digital information they can find. Bell heads back to her office to follow up on paperwork regarding the case and Stabler heads out to check on Benson.
