"so i see you found your uber" olivia said with a smirk as conan and violet walked in her front door. "you are so unfunny it is truly so painful" violet responded throwing her bag on the table and setting her head down.
"What's up with you today " olivia asked with her eyebrows furrowed "that's a great question that i've been asking since i met up with her but she won't tell me!" conan said as he gave olivia a hug. "it's just... i'm tired of everything with-" "what did she do this time? did she yell at you again? was it over something stupid? i swear to god violet if you don't-"
"LIV SHUT UP SHE WAS ABOUT TO TELL US" conan said cutting her off, he was tired of this and needed to know already.
"right sorry" liv said "so? what happened" violet sighed "she called me this morning telling me she was gonna be out all day with some friends and i told her it was cool and i was actually about to head out to your place and she completely flipped out saying that i should've already told her my plans and that i was being rude and disrespectful and i kinda yelled at her saying that she was just telling me that she was gonna go out ALL DAY with her friends and she wasn't being fair and she hung up on me and hasn't been answering me since" she rambled putting her head down.
conan and olivia frowned hearing this yet again, it's been going on for months and they both know violet doesn't deserve it. violet has done everything for that girl and continued to even with her being constantly mistreated.
"what even is her name again? whatever it is i'm tired of it and you need to stop putting up with her violet. you need to leave her" conan said tired of seeing his best friend down like this over a girl who doesn't deserve her. "her name is riley" she said with the words coming out more muffled because her head was in her arms.
"look i've tried so many times to leave her trust me i have but she won't let me! she just guilt trips me and tells me that she's gonna change and i fall for it every single time! it's so embarrassing and i'm so tired of it." she said as she got up and walked to the fridge. "just forget this conversation i'm over it, liv is gracie coming over? i never even got to have a conversation with the girl"
"let me call her one second" liv said running upstairs to get her phone. "You know V i really hope you end up leaving that girl, and soon. i know you love her but someone out there can love you the way you love. And that's what you deserve" conan said leaning on the counter
"That was so gay" violet said closing the fridge laughing at the taller boy as she grabbed some left over chicken, "i swear i can never be serious with you! and you love to complain i'm never nice, you're so annoying" conan said standing up straight and smacking violet behind her head.
"hurry up i wanna play mario kart i've been practicing and i know for a fact i could beat you easy peasy" he said confidently walking to the living room to start up the game. "i love your confidence it's cute buddy but now i have to absolutely destroy you"
after a few minutes liv came back downstairs letting them know gracie will be arriving soon and to try not to scream so much because she does not want to be dealing with a headache that day. "Also v i know you have a girlfriend and what not but i'm done pretending that i even tolerate her so if you want to flirt with gracie OR ANYBODY for that matter my lips are shut" olivia said turning to look at her cousin who was still eating some chicken.
"haha very funny, you know i'm not like that liv. and i barley know the girl i'm not trying to scare her off" violet responded going to wash her hands now. "i was just saying" olivia shrugged with a smile on her face turning to face conan. A knock on the door came just seconds after and violet rushed to open the door. "hi gracie it's nice to see you again! come in you need anything?" "hi violet! thank you but i'm okay don't worry" she said with a big smile walking in and going to the living room where the other two were.
violet was about to start playing when gracie asked her a question making her turn her head. "so violet what are you up to? do you work or anything?" gracie asked curiously. A smile appeared on violets face, happy that she can finally have a conversation with the older girl.
" i work at a cafe actually, been working there for the longest time and i love it. we should definitely all go on one of my days off" she said happily "and you, you're a singer right? are you working on anything new?" she asked "yeah i'm just working on a few pieces, finishing songs and what not" gracie responded "i definitely need to listen to your music i just know it's good" violet said making gracie put her head down with blush covering her cheeks.
"what about my music V is my music good?" conan asked getting the brunettes girl attention. "Ummm so anyways, liv are you making anything later because your fridge is empty cause i ate all your leftovers" she said making conan throw a pillow at her face. "JEEZ i was joking dude your music is good and you know it is we literally listened to it on the way here" she said laughing and throwing the pillow back at him. liv and gracie couldn't help but laugh looking at the two argue and gracie definitely couldn't help but look at the girl and think about how pretty she is.
"anyways violet you know i can't cook we should go out somewhere and eat. get some fast food or something i don't know i am not in the mood to dress up and only if you drive" olivia said responding to her cousins question from moments ago.
"liv i came in an uber i don't have my car you have to drive i am your guest i am doing no driving today!" violet said reaching for the controller to finally play the game. "don't worry about it guys i can drive" gracie said "thank you gracie just for that your meal is on me don't worry about it, the both of you better pay up" violet said making the two groan and complain.
gracie was about to speak before conan interrupted saying "trust me gracie do not try to argue with her about this she is going to pay for it anyways" conan said from the other side of the couch leaving violet with a big proud smile on her face.
