As Lizzie entered her second trimester, her body began to undergo subtle yet unmistakable changes. The flatness of her stomach was slowly giving way to a gentle curve, a tangible sign of the life growing inside her. While the physical transformation was a testament to the miracle unfolding within her, it also brought with it a host of new emotions and insecurities.

One morning, as Lizzie stood in front of the bathroom mirror, she couldn't help but notice the slight protrusion of her belly. It was a small bump, barely noticeable to anyone but her and Robbie, but to Lizzie, it felt like a glaring imperfection. She ran her hand over the soft curve, a frown creasing her brow as she scrutinized her reflection.

"Hey, beautiful," Robbie said, entering the bathroom with a warm smile. "What are you doing?"

Lizzie turned to him, her expression troubled. "Do you think I'm getting fat?"

Robbie's smile faltered for a moment as he registered the worry in Lizzie's voice. He stepped closer, gently wrapping his arms around her.

"Absolutely not," he said firmly, his eyes meeting hers in the mirror. "You're not getting fat, Lizzie. You're growing our baby. And you look stunning."

Lizzie sighed, leaning into Robbie's embrace. "I just... I don't feel like myself anymore. My body is changing so much, and I'm not sure how to deal with it."

Robbie held her closer, pressing a kiss to her temple. "It's completely normal to feel that way, Lizzie. Your body is doing an incredible thing, but it's okay to feel uncertain sometimes. Just know that you're not alone. I'm here for you every step of the way."

Lizzie nodded, feeling a surge of gratitude for Robbie's unwavering support. She knew that he loved her, baby bump and all, but the insecurities still lingered, gnawing at the edges of her confidence.

"I'm really starting to show," she murmured, her gaze fixed on her reflection. "What if people notice? What if they think I'm not ready to be a mother?"

Robbie, resting his chin on her shoulder, awnsered. "You're beautiful, Lizzie," he said softly, his voice filled with warmth and reassurance. "And you're going to be an amazing mother."

Lizzie leaned into his embrace, feeling a wave of gratitude wash over her. "Thank you, Robbie. I just can't shake this feeling of... I don't know, vulnerability."

Robbie pressed a kiss to her cheek, his arms tightening around her. "It's okay to feel vulnerable, Lizzie. This is all new for both of us. But remember, you're not alone. We're in this together, every step of the way."

His words were a balm to her soul, dispelling the lingering doubts and fears that clouded her mind. With Robbie by her side, Lizzie felt a renewed sense of confidence and strength.

Later that day, as Lizzie and Robbie sat down for lunch, Lizzie's thoughts drifted back to her conversation with Robbie. She knew he was right—her body was changing for a beautiful reason—but the fear of the unknown still loomed large in her mind.

"Are you okay?" Robbie asked, reaching across the table to take her hand.

Lizzie smiled weakly, trying to push aside her worries. "I'm fine. Just tired, I guess."

Robbie studied her for a moment, his concern evident in his eyes. "You know, there's a prenatal yoga class this afternoon. Maybe you'd find it helpful. It could be a chance to relax and connect with other moms-to-be."

Lizzie considered the suggestion. The idea of spending time with other expectant mothers was both comforting and intimidating. But she knew that she needed to find ways to cope with her insecurities, for her own sake and for the baby's.
