What's in between the shadows is what we all fear; consequences, the unknown.

Oh god, it's raining, once again. I thought it wouldn't for some longer...Well, we're both here. I would ask you what it is you gain by reading me, however we both can't personally talk. We can't see each other physically, so it's common sense you know. Therefore...I don't know. You don't seem too either. Isn't it eerie? Not knowing what's to come. Not seeing. The humankind seem to be terrified of what they can't see and perhaps what would happen to them from such unknown. Wouldn't that make us all spectators of some sort? Just observing, waiting for any kind of outcome.

Darkness is a common example. Peacefulness with no light, yet that seems to be the exact problem. Perhaps it's the fact of everything too peaceful and one's imagination starts to flow rapidly. It starts creating all kinds of creatures in order for you to stay alert in case an ominous creature lurks into your place.

.......

Or maybe even.... once you hear the cries of a child; somewhere you can't quite pinpoint. You seek to help yet don't even know if that child is truly there. Is it real? Are you hallucinating? What will you do to help the child? Is it hurt? Did somebody do it? What will happen to you? The human brain is unsurprisingly easily frightened by what could potentially happen to their own conscious body. I mean, I don't have a body so I can't truly relate. Nonetheless...the most mind lurking thought that could trouble someone's mind is the thought of how they'd be perceived by others or potentially, themselves.  What would happen if the child did need your help, and you were the only one? Does it turn you into a bad person since you just freeze and didn't lift a finger due to the thought of what you could potentially suffer?

Fear is truly a strangely interesting concept.
