She turned up as invited with a servant assigned to her.
Lianari: Lisa. How long does thing end?
" till the evening. Usually" lisa the servant attached to her answered.
Lianari: ugh. Can we leave early ?
Lisa: lady...
Lianari: ok ok. We will just lightly exist. Smile to anyone who looks at us. Stay for 1 hour, then leave. Here and out. Quick like an ambush. In and out.
Lisa sighed " ok Lady."
Lianari found a spot at a small stone table. She sits and starts pouring tea for herself. She looks around for some snacks to entertain herself. Lisa brought her some snacks and she was alone for a while.
Lianari: 1 hour up. No fuss, all peace. Time to go.
That's when she was intercepted by two ladies walking towards her.
" Incoming, lady " Lisa whispered
Lianari: haha. Hi. What can I do for you ladies?
" this is the famed Lianari. Colonel Lianari." the wife of Minister Allon , Ellen started.
" no, she is now Lady Reis." another lady, the wife of the Minister of Finance, Fina added.
Lianari: Anything you like to call.
Ellen: if its colonel Lianari, then you shouldn't be here isn't it ? You should be on the battlefield. Like your family.
Fina: Her family devoted themselves. How could you be so cruel? Lady Allon.
This immediately got the attention of other ladies at the party.
Ellen: she was asked by hand in marriage by General Reis. Sighs. Wasted on her. Uncouth soldier.
Fina: I heard they were childhood friends. Perhaps it was to save her. Pity marriage
Ellen: oh. Wasted indeed. I have a daughter at home, obviously much better than her type.
Fina: even wearing a butterfly accessory, doesn't even fit you.
Lianari stood up " well. If you had fun enough with your insults, I will be taking my leave."
Ellen: see. She can't even fight us so she is walking away
" Enough." One of the females stepped up. " bullying people like that. You are proud of yourself?"
Fina: little girls should keep quiet and out of adult business.
Lianari merely smiled " its really ok. Come on. " she pulled this female away. " alright. Safe zone. I am leaving for the toilet."

Lianari and her servant had reached the door to leave " I said I didn't want to come. Tsk."
Then the female earlier came " hey. Are you ok? I saw you left for the toilet.
Lianari: I am ok. Yes. Yes. Don't worry. thank you. erm...

Lianari: Ah. Daughter of that Mr Jura. I am Lianari.
" oh. I am Joyle. You don't have to take what they say to heart. They are kind of known bitches."
Lianari: I am ok really. I won't cry over that kind. You are just like your father. You don't seem like the type who like these kind of parties. Why are you here?
Joyle: to pretend I am part of them. Somtimes they talk things about who is marrying out to who. Helps my father understand some things because he doesn't care about these stuff.
Lianari: that's nice.
Joyle: my mother died early. I have to take care of him.
Lianari: I see. Well. I would be glad if you want to make friends with me. In fact, I think I would need a friend like you. I am so bad at things like that
Joyle: you look like you are doing fine though.
Lianari: haha
" be careful you go near her. Get dyed with those low cheap shot ideas like hers !" Fina yelled out. " like hooking up a General !!"
Lisa face palms " shit."
Lianari: haha. Why is he here?
" cheap shot ideas?" a low and cold voice said behind Fina.
Fina gulped... and turn around to see cold piercing eyes " ... General..."
Jin: yes. Someone told me you said the butterfly looked ugly on my wife?
Fina: ....
Jin: hm.

Jin: I didn't buy it specifically for her. Maybe I need find one just for her. As for your comments...

" lets go." Jin guided her out. He stopped his steps and turned his head and shot Ellen a cold glare " you would know what's a cheap shot because you make lots of them don't you? Lady Allon."

Lianari: it was peaceful till those two ladies intercepted me
