David ; the one between General Reis and Miss Lio.

Emperor; hm ? Jin. You have another prior engagement? Then just take her in as a second or third wife.

David ; it's Miss Lio . She has a prior engagement.

Emperor: hmm... She didn't mention that. Now that's troublesome.

David : so what should I do ?

Emperor: I'm the emperor. You're the official. You decide what to do. Court dismissed.

Jin ; Lia. Lia ! Where's Lia ?

Alex : Mistress is at the backyard crushing herbs .

So he went to the backyard and saw her sitting there at the table crushing herbs as the butler said she was doing.

Jin ; you were engaged prior to marrying me ?

Lianari: oh... Yea. That did happen .

Jin ; when were you going to tell me ?

Lianari: .... Never ?

Jin : you like this man ?

Lianari shrugged " he's ok. He doesn't mind I was a mother. He's the academic type. He was quite nice to me. My father didn't want me to be alone so he got me engaged. "

Jin ; you didn't say no ?

Lianari: I thought we would never have a chance then.

Jin : wait. When were you going to decide to hold the wedding ?

Lianari: oh . His mother despised the fact that I was a mother. So it didn't go through.

Jin : that's it ?

Lianari: what else ?

Jin : did you sign a piece of paper that said that the engagement is null ?

Lianari: oh ... Now that you say... We didn't. I wasn't planning to marry anyone else... So I didn't care.

Jin : he came back with the engagement paper. He even brought his mother with him. His mother on the other hand seems to be the type to spread rumours.

Jin : so I kept them in the manor till tomorrow.

Lianari yawns and walks to the dining table. She sits right beside Jin without much thought. She reaches out for the fried dough sticks and takes a bite.

Jin scoops some porridge for her and places it by her front. She dips the fried dough stick and took another bite " so good..."

" I see some habits haven't changed. "

Lianari look to the direction of whom just spoke. " .... Kevin. Kevin !" She became more awake " you're here. "

Kevin was the guy she has prior engagement with. Next to him sat his mother , Mrs Oslo.

Lianari: you invited them for breakfast?

Jin ; they are guests.

Kevin : fried dough stick and porridge. Still your favourite combination?

Jin : always have been and will never change.

Mrs Oslo: you act like you've always known her.

Jin : as a matter of fact I do. Mrs Oslo. I grew up in her household. The family was kind enough to raise me alongside with their children.

Mrs Oslo: is that why you snatched her away from Kevin ?

Jin : snatched ? I hear you were the one who despised her first.

" that's because she's not a virgin. " Mrs Oslo then laughed " I bet you didn't know you got yourself a used good. "

Lianari : I'm not a good ! That's it. We're kicking her out of here.

Mrs Oslo: a General marrying a woman who isn't a virgin. I wonder how's that gonna sound like on the streets ?

Jin : well not too bad I think. I am the man who gave her , her first time. Made her a mother.

Mrs Oslo: what ? !!

Lianari hit him " Jin !! "

Jin shrugged " what ? "

Alex the butler came over " Master. Colonel came over with an important matter. "

Jin : can't even wait for me to return . Guess it's urgent.

Alex : yes. But there are guests here today. Should I prepare the horse for you to return to the barracks instead?

Jin looked to Kevin " you know how to ride a horse ?"

Kevin : yes.

Jin ; come. Butler.

Alex : noted.

Mrs Oslo: wait !! what are you trying to do ?! Kidnap my son ?!

Jin ; you want to come along ? I don't have a carriage for you though. I'll ask my colonel to put you on his horse like a good.

Mrs Oslo: you !! He's not going.

Jin ; it's not up to him. Men.

The guard outside came in " you walk yourself or... "

Kevin : I'll be back.

Mrs Oslo then looked at lianar" do something!!"
