DON'T GIVE UP ON ME

Alone in my own head,
Laying tucked in my warm bed.
Thinking of every possiblities,
Brought about by eventualities.
Of a ME totally different,
Of a ME full of compliments.

Hands crossed staring at the ceiling,
Trying to bury this rising feeling.
Demeaning my very own existence,
Dreaming of a life in the heavens.
I see a person who will never exist,
Unless I rise up and try to persist.

She's looking back, she's calling out;
She prays to live and be a part.
She seeks existence, be one of us;
Dependent on me, a blessing or curse.
I need to be her, I crave to be free;
Then she said,"Please don't give up on me!"
