"Ah, no he's not. Jaehyun is my coworker." Minho explained with a calm smile, ruffling Jaehyun's hair.
"Oh, right. Just thought you two seemed a little close for just coworkers." Eric said, resting his arm around Jisung's shoulder.
"That's not your business anyways." Jaehyun spoke up, looking away a bit. "You don't need to make comments about it." He sounded rather defensive, not something anyone had expected from someone so innocent looking like him.
The conversation continued, the two bickering, but Jisung was stuck there in thought.
Had Minho really never told him about Jaehyun? Maybe he wasn't listening one day when he was brought up. But it was strange, they seemed really close.
Minho wasn't one for affection, usually. Hell, him and Hyunjin have been friends longer than him and Minho, and he still hasn't seen either of them even attempt to hug eachother.Actually, the more Jisung thought about it, the more he realized that Minho treated Jaehyun really similarly to how he treated him. He almost seemed even more comfortable with him.
But him and Minho are bestfriends, he's told Jisung that himself. He couldn't have been replaced, right?
He wondered if him and Jaehyun called eachother stupid pet names to, or if they were close enough to say I love you, or—"Baby, let's order before the little guy tries to kill me." He heard Eric whisper, snapping him clean out of his thoughts with the nickname.
Jisung couldn't help but smile a little at the name, for some reason it flustered him to hear it from Eric.
"Right.." He whispered back, clearing his throat.
"Ah, um.. anyways, we came to get some cheesecake. Well— I did, I don't know about Eric, so you know, just—"
"Jisung, I know what you want, you can calm down." He chuckled. "Eric, what would you like? If you're not sure, take your time." He smiled softly.
"Fudge mocha is all, thank you." Eric responded, taking out his wallet. "I'll pay, don't worry about it, alright?" He whispered to Jisung as Minho walked away to get Jisung's favorite cheesecake, and ordered to Jaehyun to get on making the coffee.
"I appreciate the offer, but I can pay—"
"I'll pay, baby." Eric cut him off again.
Ugh.. that name...
"R-Right.." Jisung glanced away, so clearly flustered all over again.
"Alright! Here's your cheesecake, Jisung. Eric, your coffee." He said whilst handing them their respective items.
"Enjoy! And don't worry about paying, I can cover it for y'all." Minho stated. He always paid for Han when he stopped by during his shifts, so this time was no different.
"Oh, I've got it, thank you for offering though." Eric smiled gratefully, holding his card out to Minho.
"No, I insist. I'll pay." Minho gently pushed away Eric's hand, reaching to grab his wallet.
"Aha, no.. thank you, really, but I insist on paying." Eric practically shoved his card in Minho's palm.
"I always pay for Jisung when he stops by, same goes for the friends he brings along, hm? So really, let me pay." Minho restated, his smile faltering slightly.
"Well since you're always paying, taking this as a gift of appreciation, yeah?" Eric's smile had dropped completely, and at this point the two were just glaring daggers into eachother's eyes.
"Can y'all just shut up and do halfsies? We have a customer waiting." Jaehyun butted in. Jisung breathed a sigh relief that Jaehyun had spoken up.
"... How about I pay this time in the next time you come in, I'll let you pay for yourself." Minho offered.
"How about, the other way around." Eric countered.
"No." Minho said firmly,
Eric grunted in frustration, hesitantly sliding his card back into his wallet as a form of surrendering, not wanting to make the people behind him way any longer.
Minho smirked proudly, completing the transaction with his own card.
"Enjoy!" Minho said enthusiastically.
"Thank you, Minho!" Jisung quickly said before any other arguments could start between Minho and Eric again, taking Eric's hand and pulling him out of the café.

Chan walked into his dorm, Hyunjin following being, looking at his phone screen.
As Hyunjin stepped inside, he almost immediately spotted Felix sitting slouched into the couched, playing on his Nintendo switch he had brought over, not even having realized that anyone had walked through the door.
"Chan, are you fucking kidding me?" Hyunjin whispered, immediately going for the door. He'd walk all the way back if needed, even with how lazy he was today.
"Hyunjin, c'mon. Felix is your best friend. You can't just hold a grudge against him forever." Chan tried convincing him, attempting to pull him back.
"Fuck that! I don't—"
"Hyunjin?" Felix said, his eyes soft and full of love. Not seeing the person he was madly in love with for weeks really did a toll on him, it felt like not eating and finally getting to after waiting for hours.
Hyunjin froze up, not even bothering to finish his sentence to Chan.
"H-Hey.." He didn't know why he suddenly felt so nervous, just from the one that had left Felix's mouth.
Instantly dragged him inside, throwing him on the couch beside Felix.
"I missed you." Felix said, setting his controller beside him on the couch. Those words came from the heart, even though he was nervous to speak to because of their last interaction in person, he really did miss Hyunjin.
He was still his best friend after all.
