Lily was sitting in her rocking chair, reading a book as her child played with her toys. Lily felt that her daughter stopped, and she looked at her to see a pair of pink eyes staring back at her.
"What is it, Lilan?" Lily said, putting her book down as said kid sat on her lap.
"I always wondered how you and dad met." Lilan said with a blank face.
Ban, who was in the kitchen making breakfast, spit out whatever it was that he was drinking, and said, "Why would you want to know that?"
"Well, my teacher was talking about the seven deadly sins, and she mentioned dad. She said that they were heroes. But I thought heroes never have time for anything else besides being a hero so how is it that you and mom met?" Lilan said staring at her father with her head tilted to the side.
"You clearly take after your mother. You two talk the same." Ban said as he smirked.
"What does that even mean?" Lily said as she arched her brow at ban.
"Nothing," he said as he turned back around to continue cooking.
"Well, to answer your question Lilan, I would say that it's a long and complicated story." Lily said as she showed a partial smile showed on her face.
"Well, I wanna hear all of it," Lilan said as she smiled toward her mother.
"Even the explicit" parts?" Ban smirked.
"You animal! She's only 9!" Lily said as she blushed.
"Just tell the story mom!"
"Well I guess it all started when...."

.Lily was currently beating up some guy when she sat on his chest.
"I think he's already dead," Ban said, leaning on the brick wall behind him.
Lily looked back at him with a blank expression on her face as she stood up from the dead body. Almost immediately after she turned around and started walking in the other direction.
"Well aren't you just the nicest in the universe," Ban said as he followed behind her.
"I'm not interested in being around the likes of other people."
"Well, there's something that I want, and you just so happen to be the person that could help me get it." Ban said.
"Find a different person then." Lily said in a slightly irritated tone.
"Tried that."
"Try again."
"Why can't you help me?"
"Don't want to."
"Reason?"
"There isn't one."
"I won't leave you alone until you help me."
Lily then licked one of her darts and quickly threw it at Ban hitting him directly in his heart.
"It's people like you that always annoy me the most." Lily said as she started walking again.
"Define 'people like me'," Ban said as he took the dart out.
Lily turned around in shock.
"Could've killed me you know." Ban joked as he walked up to her.
"I was hoping it would." Lily said as she watched him walk up to her.
"Well sadly for you, that can't and won't happen anytime soon." Ban said as he looked at her pink eyes.
"You must've drunk from the fountain of youth."
"Bingo."
"Just my lucky day," Lily said as she walked away from Ban.
"So will you help me?" Ban said as he followed her.
"Seems I don't have a choice."
----------------------------------------------------------
"Your place is pretty nice," Ban said as he placed his bag down on the floor at the entrance of the door.
"Beware of the dog," Lily said glancing at Ban.
As soon as she said that a white demon dog came out of nowhere and bit Ban in half.
"Guess I was too late," Lily said as she turned back around, proceeding to do what she was doing.
"Someone just died in your house and that's your reaction. Must be the reason why your place is so clean. All the dead bodies that stack up in here must be over a million." Ban said as he stood behind Lily with a knife held up to her neck.
"Over a million is an exaggeration. I would say about a thousand. Seems you're the only one that ever lived. Seems like cupcake won't be getting her snack."
"YOU NAMED THAT GAINT THING CUPCAKE!?" Ban said as he pointed toward the big, demon dog.
"What's wrong with her name? Isn't she just the sweetest thing?" Lily said as she walked over to cupcake and played with her face.
"She isn't. I think you've forgotten that she just bit my body in half!" Ban yelled.
"I haven't forgotten. I just don't care."
"I didn't expect working with you would be this difficult so I'll just get to the point. I heard that you can revive someone from the dead."
"That's true. Let me guess, you came looking for me to save a loved one? Lover? Child? Parent? Friend? I don't care. I'm not helping you." Lily said coldly.
"Why?"
"Because I don't want to."
"You give a lot of bullshit answers and it pisses me off."
"Then leave me the hell alone. No one told you to follow me. I'm not risking my life span just to save someone who I don't even know."
"You did it for other people."
Lily looked away from Ban. A sad expression on here face.
"That was a foolish mistake I made. Trying to be a hero."
"I want to save a lover. She's a fairy and she was killed by a demon. If you won't help me then tell me who else can."

"Dad loved someone else before you?" Lilan asked."Yep. For quite some time too." Lily said as she smiled softly.
"Hey ladies, do you want to eat or not?" Ban said as he looked away from the two with slight blush on his face.
"Someone's embarrassed." Lily said as she smirked, earning a small 'whatever' from Ban.
The three of them said down at the table and started to eat.
"If dad loved someone else how come he ended up with you?" Lilan said, as she looked up from her food.
"I see she takes after you Ban. Always asking questions," Lily said, looking towards Ban. "Why I wouldn't know why he chose me. You'll have to ask him."
Lilan looked at her dad, awaiting for the next part of the story.
"I'll tell you later. When you get out of school." Ban said, looking off to the side.
"So I can skip homework!" Lilan said as the light glowed in her eyes.
"No." Both of her parents said in a stern voice.
"Actually sure. It's been forever since I've done math." Lily said, smiling.
"Really!?" Both Lilan and Ban said.
"I said it was a long and complicated story. No one wants to wait forever for a story like that."
