"I wish you were still here (Y/N)!! Akashi and I miss you!" You giggled a little listening to your owl friend cry over the phone as you made yourself breakfast.

"I know you do, I miss you both too but I'll come back." You said softly into the phone, taking a bite of your toast as you flipped your egg over.

"It only felt like yesterday that you were here with us!" Bokuto said, being dramatic as always.

"I've only left like two days ago, you're being dramatic." You said.

"He's always dramatic (Y/N)," Akashi faintly said, which caused the owl boy to scold him. You giggled more.

You have arrived in Brazil and you just moved into your new house. It was a beautiful modern penthouse with a perfect, giant window view of the beach. After you landed in Brazil, you quickly went to your penthouse, eager to unpack and settle in. Once you finally settled, you had time to relax and enjoy your new home, talking about it to Bokuto little by little.

You took your plate of food and your phone and walked towards your giant window with the view of the beach. You sat down on your giant gray couch and continued to eat.

"So, what will you be doing for work while in Brazil?" Bokuto asked you.

"I got offered to train as a bartender on the beach before I moved here."

"Ooh! Sounds like fun!" Bokuto cheered. You shrugged.

"I mean, I guess, but..." You trailed off.

"(Y/N) isn't the most outgoing person, Bokuto," Akaashi added. "You should've known that much about her." You agreed with him. Your personality hadn't changed much through high school, only really talking to Bokuto and Akaashi whenever you could.

"I think it'll help build my confidence, but I start training tonight. Plus the pay is amazing, especially if I get tips." You added, smiling a bit.

"I think you'll have fun and meet so many great people!" Bokuto said enthusiastically. You giggled and thanked him.

The conversation quickly moved on to more about your penthouse and you gave them a tour, leading Bokuto to add, "You could throw the coolest parties there!" This remark made you roll your eyes. As if you'd ever throw a party – you not being a party person in general because of how quiet you always were, Bokuto never really grasped that you were an introvert.

You have always spent hours talking to Bokuto and Akaashi, in person or on the phone, your call took up to 5 hours long of just you talking about Brazil, your house, and each of you talking about your future goals.

Eventually, it was time to hang up the call and get ready for your first day on the job. You stood in your bathroom, all ready with your makeup and hair done. Your makeup contracted your (S/C) skin and your hair done up, exposing your facial features more. Your hair has always been down and covered more of your face, but now it was time to embrace yourself. You were dressed in a black tank top with the beach bar's company name on the right side of the tank. You also wore black shorts that went to your mid-thigh. You smiled at yourself in the mirror, admiring yourself more.

"Alright Bokuto, I gotta go." You told him, interpreting him as he rambled on about something. He pouted.

"But... but-"

"Bokuto stop acting like a baby, have a good rest of your day (Y/N)." Akasshi scolded Bokuto, then immediately focused on you. You smiled.

"Thanks, Keiji, I'll talk to you guys soon." You said and then hung up. You grabbed your things and locked up your house, going down to the beach, only having to walk 15 minutes to the beach bar. Once you arrived, you tensed up and stayed quiet until the manager saw and recognized you.

"You're (Y/N) (L/N), correct?" She asked you. Her Brazilian accent was heavy, but you understood her. You nodded and stuck your hand out.

"That's me. Nice to meet you." You said timidly. The manager shook your hand

"I'm Janelle, let's get you started then!" She cheered and led you around the bar, showing you everything and leaving you with your trainer, and new best friend, Naomi.
