"Turn that frown upside-down Sugar, what's bothering you?" Naomi asked, scaring you a bit. You sighed as you put bottles up while Naomi counted the cash drawer. You weren't all that happy today because of what happened yesterday, and thankfully Naomi noticed your gloomy state.

"Well... I hung out with Hinata yesterday..." You whispered and Naomi got excited for you.

"How did that go?" She asked smiling.

"It was great, we had so much fun, but..." You paused and sighed, remembering what happened and you put your face in your hands, frustrated. "God, I'm such an awkward person Naomi..."

"Woah, don't put yourself down like that, what happened?"

"He walked me home and before he left I hugged him. So we were – you know – close like our faces were close."

"Ooh~" Naomi sang. "You two kissed, didn't you?"

"No..."

"No?!" Naomi asked, shocked. "What do you mean no?!"

"I was leaning in for one but he pulled away and I think he was looking at me weird for leaning in so close to him." You told her and sighed. "Maybe he doesn't like me..."

"Nonsense! There is so much to like about you." Naomi shouted. "You're beautiful, smart, kind, your timidness makes you adorable! There are so many things about you that are incredible!" Naomi tried to comfort you, but you weren't having it as you looked at her unimpressed. Naomi saw that and placed a hand on your shoulder. "Plus, you don't know if he thought you were weird, maybe he was nervous. It happens." Noami moved the hand that was on your shoulder and patted your back. You shrugged at her remarks and you nodded.

"I guess that's a possibility..."

"Shake it off, don't let this eat you up!" Naomi added and she kissed your cheek. You sighed once more and forced a smile on your face.

The rest of the day went well and was very steady. You didn't talk too much to customers but still tried to put yourself out there. Nevertheless, You weren't stressed and some customers were great and made you laugh.

However, since the day was slower than usual, Naomi let you go home early, which made you happy. You could sit at home and relax.

Once you got home, you noticed something on your doorstep. You looked at what it was. A small bouquet of your favorite flowers and a volleyball that was two of your favorite colors and white. You noticed a note attached to the flowers and you read it, knowing immediately whose handwriting it was.

"These flowers and the volleyball reminded me of you, practice a bit with the ball for me!" Signed by Hinata with a smiley face. You giggled at his note and took it all inside. You set up the flowers on your island counter and you put the ball away in your room. You returned to the couch and felt relieved as you stretched and laid down, closing your eyes and going down for a nap.
