You've officially lived in Brazil and worked at the beach bar for little over one year now and you felt good about yourself. You had a bit more confidence in yourself and met many more great people, however, you were still shy and quiet, only talking and interacting with customers and your close friends like Naomi.

You opened the back door to the bar and clocked in, setting your purse down in your locker and then walking out to the bar. The beach was filled with people in the warm sun. Some people, mostly kids, were playing in the water, others were walking together and a group played their share of beach volleyball.

"Hey, Sugar!" You heard Naomi call out to you and then hugged you from behind. "I'm so glad I'm opening with you and not Alex." Naomi let go of you and leaned against the bar. You were on the computer, logging yourself in.

"Did you two have another disagreement?" You asked her.

"She tried to take my tips, plus she cried to management about my "violent behavior" after I took my money back from her!" Naomi took a deep breath, calming herself and then she began to ramble on about anything at this point. You just listened to her. She almost reminded you of Bokuto.

"Anyway, you see all those cute volleyball players over there?"

"Hm? Oh, yeah I saw them."

"I have a feeling they're gonna want a few drinks and they'll want a pretty girl like you to serve them."

"And why not you?"

"Girl you know I'm married." She said, showing you the ring on her ring finger. "My man is right over there with our other friends." You giggled.

. . .

It was about two hours now and you only served a few customers. Naomi was anticipating the volleyball players to come and approach mainly you. She's always been your "matchmaker" – much like how Bokuto was. You relaxed, knowing as the sun went down, the rush would begin.

You wiped down the bar top and picked up a check left by a couple. You counted the tip money and put it away in your server book. Then you heard Naomi squeal and jump onto you.

"Here they come!" She sang and pointed to the group of beach volleyball players. "You get them Sugar!" She gave you a thumbs up and walked away to where her husband and friends were. You smiled a little and watched the men walk towards the bar. Once they were close enough, you spoke up.

"Hello gentleman, how are we?"

"Thirsty, darling. Let's get four beers!" One guy spoke up. You nodded and grabbed four tall glasses, filling them one by one. You carefully did so, listening to them talk. It sounded like they were teasing one of them, which made them laugh a little.

"Are we starting a tab?" You asked them, handing each of them their drinks.

"Oh yeah! Yo Hinata, you and Pedro lost, you're both paying."

"Hinata...?" You thought to yourself. "I remember that name... it can't be him, can it?" Just as you thought those words, the said guy walked forward. He was tanner than before his ginger hair a little short but styled the same way as you remembered. He had a baseball cap on and sunglasses on. He forfeited his card to you and mumbling.

"All because I am still getting used to playing volleyball in the sand... stupid..." He only just looked up and recognized you.

"(Y/N)?" He called out and you nodded.

"Yep, good to see you again Hinata!" You said cheerful yet timid. He was shocked.
