She stared at the ring on her finger and then at the man in black whose back was towards her in that dark forest, many miles away from the civilization, where there was minimum chance anyone could find them. She left everything behind for him, for his love and for his companionship. She regretted nothing because a life without him wasn't less than a hell.

"Ozan," she called him, with teary eyes.

He turned around and seeing so many wounds and bruises on his face and body made her more sad. He got all this because of her. She should have been brave enough to fight for him. As soon as she got the news that Ozan had managed to sneak away from the torture cell of her father, she couldn't stay at home doing nothing. A couple of days after her engagement with the Emir, Ozan contacted her and she ran away on her own choice from Aysin mansion.

Comfort lurked in Ozan's eyes. "Ceylan."

She rushed into his arms and hugged him tightly, letting her tears fall without any barrier. He hugged her back, closing his eyes in relief.

"Take me with you, Ozan. I left everything for you," she murmured, sobbing as she lifted her head from his chest.

"I will, my love. I will. Thank you for valuing my love and trusting me enough to leave your family, your house, and your fiance for me," he mumbled, with a relieved smile, cupping her face.

"Don't say he is my fiance. He is nothing to me. Only you matter to me, Ozan," she said.

"Of course, my love," he uttered.

He nodded. "I know sweetheart."

She licked her dried lips. "Where do we have to go?"

"This night, we'll ask for help from the civilization in this forest. We have to spend a night here and then early morning, I'll take you to Armenia where my hometown is and we will get married there. Don't worry, Ceylan; I'll protect you till my last breath," he explained.

Ceylan's lips spread in gratitude. "Thank you Ozan for not leaving me in the path. I love you so much."

"I love you too, sweetheart. Let's go and ask for some help before it's dark already," he told her before tugging her hand.

Carefully, with the sunlight as their direction, they made their way inside the complicated and green forest. There were so many woods and trees there but with Ozan, Ceylan had no issue. They reached a niche and Ozan's eyes glowed seeing a hut in the corner.

"Let's see. There may be someone inside to lend us a place to live tonight," Ozan told her breathlessly.

They would have gone but suddenly, a flicker of movement was seen from the brown bushes towards the left. Both of them stilled and Ceylan gasped as the motion became very obvious as though someone was behind it.
