It has been nearly two months since Rehan and Aarvi got married. Rehan was sitting in his office.

"Nowadays, Aarvi is so engrossed in work that she isn't giving me time. Here I take out time to romance with her, and she's busy with her work. How much work did Bade Papa give her that she doesn't have an hour for me?" Rehan was talking to himself.

There was a knock on his cabin. At first, he didn't hear it. Then it knocked once more, but the person received no reply. The person knocked again, and Rehan came back from his thoughts and asked the person to come inside.

"Sir, here are the files which you ordered me to bring."

"Thank you, Misti. Now you may leave. I will check it and give it back to you."

"Ok, sir."

Misti left from there.

"Let me call Aarvi and ask her to go out for dinner."

Rehan called Aarvi.

"Aarvi, shall we go out for dinner today?"

"I am sorry, Rehan, I won't be able to make it."

Rehan's face frowned.

"But why? What's the problem?"

Actually, my friend got a promotion, and she is giving a party to her colleagues, so I am with her today.

"Ok, bye," Rehan said sadly.

"Don't worry, Rehan. We will go on the weekend. Now, bye."

The phone call ended, and Rehan was sad.

"Nowadays, she is ignoring me a lot, but don't worry, Rehan. She is your cute wifey, and she is busy today. If she wasn't, then she would have definitely gone for dinner with you. You love her and trust her, and trust is more important in a relationship."

"But Rehan, a relationship should be balanced by both parties. You are showing so much effort, and Aarvi isn't able to take out some time for you," his mind taunted.

"But she is busy. If she wasn't, then we both would be together and had dinner."

"Rehan, she kept her friend's promotion above you. Just think once," his mind taunted again.

"Stop it. Stop making me think against my wife. I believe and appreciate her work. Now, you also do your work and help me in this office work," Rehan said to his mind sternly.

Rehan reached home and saw that Aarvi wasn't there. He asked his family, and they shook their heads, indicating that they didn't know about Aarvi. Rehan assured them that he would call her to find out her whereabouts so that everyone could sleep. He paced back and forth in his room, waiting for Aarvi. It was ten o'clock.

"Where is this girl? She hasn't realized the time. It's already 10, and she's still not home. Let me call her and ask about her whereabouts," Rehan said to himself, looking tense.

He called Aarvi first, but she didn't pick up the call, which made Rehan's heartbeat faster. He called again, but she didn't answer. For the last time, he called her, and this time she picked up. Rehan's heartbeat returned to normal.

"Where are you, Aarvi, and why weren't you picking up my calls?" Rehan questioned angrily.

"Why are you getting angry, Rehan? I told you that I am going to a party. Why are you getting hyper? I am on the way home," Aarvi replied.

"Come quickly."

"I am coming only."

What is happening to her? She went out, it was okay, but she will be late. So, she could have just called me or messaged me for once. But no, she didn't do this because madam was busy at the party.

The clock struck 12, and Aarvi was still not at home. Rehan's anger was rising with each passing second. After a while, he heard a horn sound and looked out from the window. He saw that Aarvi was happily waving to a man sitting inside. His insecurities were increasing. He wanted to trust her, but seeing this side of hers, he was thinking, was it correct that he married Aarvi, or was it a decision taken by him in a short period of time? His heart wanted to believe that Aarvi didn't do this intentionally, but his mind was not letting him believe this.
