Aarvi came inside the house. Rehan quickly pulled her into the room.

"With whom were you giggling and laughing?"

"Rehan, why are you getting offended?"

"Have you seen the time on your watch? Do you have any idea how worried I was for you? And you didn't even realize to call me."

"Rehan, I didn't notice the time, and sometimes it slips from our mind. Also, I know I was at fault, but..."

"What 'but,' Aarvi? You were giggling and laughing with a man outside the house and didn't realize that your husband was waiting for you for so long. No 'buts,' madam was busy partying with her friends."

"Enough, Rehan. Before shouting at me, check your phone. I messaged you from my friend's number that I would be late because at that time my phone was dead. I charged my phone by borrowing a power bank."

"You could have also called, but the person with whom you were giggling. What about giggling with him?" Saying so, Rehan left the room angrily.

"But Rehan, the person whom you saw me with was Rahul."

Rehan didn't hear this and left.

The following night, Rehan and Aarvi had a huge fight. They both didn't talk with each other for a whole week. Aarvi was offended by Rehan's behavior. Nowadays, Rehan used to go to the club and come home late every night. They both weren't talking to each other. The family understood that there was some tension between them, so they decided to make them sit together and solve the issue between them.

One day, they all planned to go out.

"Aarvi, Rehan, you both go. I forgot something, so I will bring it, and we will be behind your car only, so don't worry," said Aarvi's mom.

"Ok, mom."

They both sat in the car, and Rehan started driving. After a while, they reached the farmhouse. Rehan called Shweta.

"Mom, we have reached here. Where are you all?"

"Rehan, actually, our tire got punctured, so it will take us time to reach there."

"Ok, mom. We both are waiting for you all."

"That's ok. We will try to reach as soon as possible."

"Ok, mom."

Today, Aarvi decided to talk with Rehan.

"Rehan, for once, hear me out. What happened? You didn't even give me a chance to fully state my point."

"What chance should I give you, Aarvi?"

"Rehan, you also come home late at night. Have I said anything? I don't care how many girls you would be with."

"Aarvi, you are questioning my character."

"A few days ago, someone also questioned my character."

Rehan understood what she wanted to say; he felt embarrassed as well.

"I am sorry. I shouldn't have done that."

"Will sorry heal the mental damage you have caused me? No, Rehan, it will not."

"It wasn't my fault."

"Then whose fault was it? You were the one blaming me for getting late one day. Did that hurt you so much?"

"Aarvi, I don't have any problem with you going to parties with your friends."

"Then what's the problem, Rehan? Why aren't you talking to me properly? What have I done?"

"You should question that to yourself, Aarvi. What have you done?"

What the hell have I done? Why is he so upset with me? I need to find out. Rehan is not the kind of person who will be offended by me coming home late. There is something bothering him and he isn't telling me. I need to ask him what the thing is that is bothering him and he is not telling me.
