bound by fate

Part I

The virus broke out about a month ago,since then the world has gone to shit.I was a part of a group containing me,my parents,my newborn baby,and my boyfriend.I'll be honest,he definitely wasn't a great boyfriend and I had to learn that one the hard way,and unfortunately my body is the only way to show it.I have burn scars covering me and other scars all over my back from him.But,I loved him.He was my everything before this.And my beautiful baby Jade.She was only two weeks when this all happened.I was at the shop with her,buying food for my boyfriend,Dylan,as he didn't want to go,when the manager started screaming over the intercom about how there's weird infected people or things inside.We all thought it was a joke at first,but that was before screams began echoing throughout aisles.I got Jade from out of the seat of the trolley and ran back to the car.We got home to Dylan watching the tv,the news.It was about the attack,saying some virus has infected the town,making people become "undead" as the reporter said.He looked at me,appearing angry.I don't think i'd ever been more confused than then.Some part of me expected him to be angry,But I just wanted to be comforted after what I had just seen.I knew what was coming.It was my fault,I should have gone to a different shop,he said.He took Jade,saying he was leaving.But then an emergency alert came to the TV saying Atlanta was hosting some sort of safe place.We wasn't that far from Atlanta,so we just decided to leave the argument for now and we got my parents as we had a big car,and we left off to Atlanta.That was when we got there,that it didn't go well,at all.People was in and out of their cars just outside the city,screaming on and on about nothing.We was all confused and trying to figure out what was happening.We all got through to Atlanta after a while.We was safe for about a week,we was there and safe .Then,the city was swamped and absolutely covered with them.Dylan and me was out on the streets with Jade when it happened.One took him down,a straight bite to the neck.I ran as fast as I could,with Jade in my arms.I saw my parents come out of where we was temporarily housed and they saw me,screaming for me to run to them so we can get to a car and leave.They was already starting up a car,ushering me to hurry but they was quite far.That's when people in the streets panicked,they all had the same idea of trying to get to cars and getting out of there,but one family reversed their car straight into the front of the car my parents was in.The last thing I saw was my mothers neck being snapped back,before the car went up in flames.That's when everything went silent,and I was stood still,as if frozen in time.A woman saw me,and got me to run with her but after a bit of running,I got lost in the crowd.It was just me and Jade,in the middle of an apocalypse.
