Heavy boots beat against the stairs, Herobrine rapidly approaching the gorey scene. I heard muffled screaming, he was yelling out at me, clawing his way into the bathroom to reach me in time. Desperate hands clasped at me, dragging me out of the tub and wrapping my arm in his shirt, terrified cries trying to reach me before my brain dies. My vision was blurring badly; but there could still be time. Pressure was applied to my arm, which Null held raised vertical in the air as I lay on the freezing tiles. My chest burned, my entire form bursting with tremors and shakes, yet I was powerless to do anything except sob, watching Herobrine frantically phone an ambulance as my vision filled with darkness.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'd been here before, not too long ago. That familiar sequence of beeps, the scent of cleanliness, the weight of the blinding luminescence on my eyelids that kept me from opening my eyes. But I knew where I was, I knew what happened, why I was here, and I felt safe. A door opened somewhere, fast moving shapes spoke as they approached me, and somebody was crying. Large, warm hands held mine, and I could hear their tears as they spoke.
"Entity, you made it. You're ok now."
I opened my eyes. Herobrine cupped my face, plastering me with kisses, cries mixed with joyous laughter, reassuring me everything was ok, that I was safe now.
"Am I dead?"
He laughed, still crying profusely.
"No, love, no, you're not dead - you're not dead. You're here, you're safe, it's all ok now. You're going to be ok now."
I allowed my own tears to spill, a weak smile tugging at the corners of my mouth, and I kissed him back. It wasn't all over, I still had a long way to go, I wasn't completely out of the forest yet. But, I'd have someone to walk with, hand in hand. We could find our way from here.
