YEJIS POV
My eyes suddenly fluttered open, there was a sharp pain in my neck.
"Gosh.." As I checked my surroundings, I saw Ryujin pacing back and forth
"Are you alright my love?" I said softly.
"You're awake?!" She said in a panicked tone.
"Why wouldn't I be?" I said with a happy tone... "My neck does hurt like a bitch though..."
Then it bit me. The realization. The betrayal. "Ryujin... Did you bite me?..." I mumbled as I stared into her eyes. She rushed up to me grabbing my hands
"I'm so sorry... I didn't know what came over me... I seriously tried to fight it off." She said apologetically as I stared into her eyes with shock.
"My love please I would never instead to hurt you in any way... My hunger took over me." She said gripping my hands tighter.
"Please let go of me," I said sternly. Glaring at her now.
"Yejj... Please let me explain." She said sincerely.
"Let go." I mumbled
. "Yeji, please. Please.." She said staring into my eyes.
"I said let go!" I yelled as I pushed her back on the bed. One of my eyes flashed a bright red color. She looked at me angrily now.
Not going to lie I was terrified. I stared into her eyes... As they were redder than mine... The fear ran through my body... Through my veins, my heart, my lungs, my stomach, my intestines. My instincts kicked in. I rather NOT die today.
So I just ran out of the room, I ran through the halls, trying to find an empty room, I heard yelling throughout the mansion, and as I got more scared, I found an empty room, I went in there and locked the door, hiding in a empty walk-in closet.
RYUJIN'S POV
"Find her now," I yelled at my guards.
"Then bring her to me... There better not be a single scratch on her when you're done." My guards agreed, some going outside some going to the first-floor rooms, some going to the second story, and others going to the 3rd floor. As I looked around, at everyone freaking out trying to find her.
"Why did I do that... Gosh, I'm so stupid." I said again, as I started to hear screams from a woman. I recognized those screams. "
"Yeji," I said softly... hearing her screams made me nervous, but she knew what she did and I knew what had to be done.
Yeji was thrown in front of me, tears fell from her beautiful face which made me feel even worse, but I knew what had to be done. A
I crouched down to her height. As she was on the floor, I held her chin softly
"Why did you run." I said softly, as she shrugged.
"Not following the rules again." I said with a softer look
"I'm sorry" She said not making eye contact again."Yeji. It's alright, as long as you're alive... the way I bit you yesterday, I was too hungry. You were supposed to die, not that I wanted you too." I said looking into her eyes.
"But you didn't that's why I was worried. As why I was trying to tell you. But you didn't listen and instead was a bad girl."
I nodded at my guards, as they started to block all the exits.
"Yeji there is something I need to tell you," I said, as she finally made eye contact with me.
"Yeji.. You're a vampire." I said as she stared directly into my eyes, a whimper was heard from her mouth, as she got more nervous. I could tell, I could tell when everybody was in fear. And she had a lot of it right now.
"But I can help you, ok?" I said as she slightly nodded, as she dug her face into my chest, as I pet her head trying to comfort her the best way I could
"You will not run away again, if you do there will be consequences." I said sternly.
"Ok..." She said softly.
I wasn't the best at comforting people, but I would try, for her.
