"Training"

You have been at UA for almost three weeks now, and nothing new has happened. It's the same routine every day, you get up, get ready, eat breakfast, go to class, argue with Bakugo and shut down his ignorant tantrums, go back to the dorms then eat later.

You were scribbling away in your journal as Mr. Aizawa explained the upcoming Sports Festival. You weren't paying attention.

"..that's why you kids need to train. [l/n]?" His words caught you off guard. "Yes sir?" He grabbed a pen, twirling it in his fingers. "See me after class." You got nervous, what if you were in trouble because it was so obvious you weren't paying attention?

Kaminari turned around and jokingly laughed at you, "Oohh you're in T to the R to the U-B-B-L-E." you flicked him on the back of the head. "That's not how you spell 'trouble' by the way." He looked at you, confused. "It's not?"

"As you guys know, the festival is and will always be a huge deal. You will be going up against classmates, other students, and maybe even a teacher." Aizawa continued, talking louder as he glared at Kaminari.

"Now, you will train after school, close combat and quirk combat. You will be tested every other week until the festival. Do you understand?" The class, in unison, said "Yes sensei." Aizawa pulled out a sheet of paper. "Also, until then. You will be partnered up with a random person to train with, you cannot switch partners and you cannot be alone." He looked at Bakugo as he said this.

"You will be partnered up at random, then you will be partnered with someone who is your weakness, then someone who is your strength. You can pick whoever you want after that." He announced, your heart rose with anticipation.

He pulled out a projector screen, which showed all the partners.

Kaminari & Momo

Kirishima & Izuku

Ochaco & Sero

Toru & Tsuyu

Mina & [y/n]

Jirou & Bakugo

And so on.

"Find your partners and discuss training tactics. Now do whatever, I'm taking a nap."

Aizawa ducked behind his desk in a yellow sleeping bag.

Mina ran up to you and wrapped her arms around you, "This is gonna be so fun!" She squealed. "I'm not gonna go easy on you." You smirked, she rolled her eyes. "Who cares about training?! We can sneak off and go to parties, we don't have to train! I mean we can every once in a while just to make it look like we did but come on! We can have fun!" She smiled.
