Xolani's POV :
We got to the mall and Zimkitha sees a car she thinks is familiar but could be someone else's. As we enter the mall we look to our left to see Jabulani (Zimkitha's dad) and Mpho(Zimkitha's mom)
As soon as we notice them, they see us,and Mpho's face turned in to a serious look. But the Jabulani seemed to be quite happy to see us. He jesters for us to come eat with them as they hadn't ordered yet.
As we went to sit down Mpho asked Zimkitha " Is this him?"
"Yes ma,ke eena enoa." Said Zimkitha to her mom in Sotho
"O monthle empa ke hobane'ng ha a u enste joalo ntle le ho u nyala pele?" Said Mpho
"Mama can we not talk about this now?" Zimkitha said with a stern face "Xolani this is my mom and dad, I'm sure you've met them. Mama,Tata, this is Xolani. The friend I use to play with at Aphiwe's house."
Jabulani broke the tension by saying " Oh,I knew that you were familiar. It's been such a while,nice to meet you again."
"Thank you sir,it's a pleasure meeting you again too." Said Xolani as politely as possible.
" Brenda,haven't seen you in a while." Mpho stood up to hug Brenda. " Yeah, your daughter is an angel by the way. You've done a great job."said Brenda as they pulled away from the hug and sat down.
Soon they ordered and their food came. They are and had a nice time and soon it came time to pay
"Check please!" Said Xolani
Jabulani " you don't have to,I'll get it."
Xolani " Tata,I insist. You were kind enough to invite us so let me return the kindness."
Mpho " Well your such a gentleman. I see why Zimkitha would fall in love with a man like you."
Zimkitha " Tata ,I have to tell you something but please don't get mad."
Jabulani " What is it ?"
Zimkitha " I'm pregnant. But, it's Xolani's and we decided to keep it."
Jabulani " Mtanam, this is your decision,your well off,his well off, his a great guy. So I'm not mad,I'm proud of you. Just know that I'm going to visit very often."
Zimkitha " Enkosi tata."
Jabulani " And congratulations to you too. You have my blessing ,Xolani."
Xolani " Thank you tata,I won't let you down, ever. This means everything to me."
Jabulani " I know my son."
