She took one for the team

Zimkitha's POV:

Today we had places to be so we woke up,got dressed and headed out. I was craving egg fried rice from the Good Chef that's down the street. I decided to get some pork soup dumplings and boneless fried chicken along with my meal.

I got emotional because I couldn't eat my food before our ultrasound appointment so all I had was some water and nothing else.
As we got to the appointment,we walked in and sat down with my ObGyn, Chante'.

We went through the appointment smoothly but then found out that we might have twins. We also got gifted a teddy bears with the baby's heartbeat.

From there we went back to my home town,Krugersdorp to meet up with my friends at my favourite place,Cradle Stone.
As soon as we walked into Spur we saw no one either than my friends. I tried holding back my tears because of all the happy memories we've had here in this place.

We greeted each other ,sat down and ordered.

Neo "So how did y'all meet?"
Zimkitha " We met at Aphiwe's when I was younger,it Xolani. The guy I always talked about when I came back from Aphiwe's ."
Omolemo " Ohh so his the guy. I'm Omolemo."
Kagiso " And I'm Kagiso, Omolemo's husband."
Zimkitha " This is Neo,Ofentse,Kopano. Faith, Moyo and Mukki."
Xolani " It great to meet you all."

We continued talking for a while and ate. Once we were done we took out the ultrasound pictures and showed my friends.

At first they looked confused but then became very happy within seconds.

Omolemo " Wait,you're having a baby."
Kagiso " Crazy cause we just found out that we are expecting too."
Xolani " We actually might be expecting babies,not just a baby."
Zimkitha " We just found out at our appointment today."
Neo " Imma be an uncle, let celebrate."
Faith " So his also the baby daddy. Vanilla I thought you said you're waiting for cows."

Vanilla was my nickname given to me by Faith after he found out about one of my clan names.

Zimkitha " Come one Faith. Our parents are actually happy and ok with it so maybe we can put that aside."

Moyo " Zimki,right now. You finna have rugby babies."
Mukki "Nope,hockey babies."
Kopano " Netball babies."
Zimkitha " Guys calm down. The babies will love all the sports and choose which one they want to do."
Xolani " I wouldn't mind being a rugby dad though."
Moyo " Thank you!"
Zimkitha " Ok guys let calm down and pay so we can leave."
Omolemo " Mhhk mama."
Kagiso " have never seen her like this before. Mother hood is kicking in already."
