Xolani's POV :

We got there and Zimkitha's favourite song started playing . I can't believe I get to call you mine by Manana.

I led her to the middle of the set up and went down on one knee.

Zimkitha " Xolani, wenzani."
Xolani " What I've always wanted to do. Babe, mama wabantwana bami , sthandwa sam. Ever since we were kids, I'd always think about you, thinking of how life with you would be. Your smile, your humour, the way you were and still are dominant. Your voice,care,love and respect have really helped become a better version of myself. Being with you is like a breath of fresh, a ray of sunshine at noon. Like a painting that can only be painted in a dream.

Tears rolled down Zimkitha's face as she mumbled a soft yes as she exhaled.

Third persons POV :

Xolani showed Zimkitha the ring and it was the same ring in the same box that she saw when she went to American Swiss with Brenda.

They both started crying and Xolani picked her up and spun her around. The rest of the family members and friends stood there cheering. Mothers crying in each others arms,cousins cheering. And Zimkitha's sister stood there trying not to cry cause she was holding the camera and Jabulani patted Zee on her shoulder ( Zee is Zimkitha's older sister)

They then went to eat dinner with the whole family and celebrate their engagement.

Zimkitha " Baba, how did you plan all this? Was me getting kidnapped part of the plan?"
Xolani " Let's just say that I had to propose back home where we first met but then we moved it to here when I saw that letter. Are you happy?"
Zimkitha " I'm over the moon, enkosi baby."
Xolani " I love you."
Zimkitha " I love you too."
