NAOMI SAT ANXIOUSLY IN THE CLINIC with Emily at her side with the brunette's hand tightly in hers. Waiting there, watching as the people ahead of her got called in by a nurse made her anxiety even worse. Was she doing the right thing was the question that kept replaying in her already clouded mind.

Emily had comfortingly told the blonde she could think it over for a few more days, but she had been thinking it over everyday since she saw the positive pregnancy test. Naomi had thought about calling Jax and confess everything to him — she could honestly use her big brother right now, but whenever she went to call him, she found herself just staring at the phone.

"Naomi, you don't have to do this." Emily's voice was soothing as she stared at Naomi with sympathy laced in her eyes. "If you're still having doubts maybe you should think on it a little more." Emily didn't want Naomi doing anything she would later on regret. This decision wasn't a light one and she couldn't even imagine what was going through her best friend's head right now.

"No." Naomi shook her head. "I have to do this, Em. I can't have a baby right now. Especially Juice's baby. This is the right decision." Naomi knew her voice didn't sound confident. She sounded more like she was trying to convince herself and Emily that this was the right choice.

Emily simply nodded. She wasn't going to push her friend into doing something she didn't want. She was simply just be here for her and have her back no matter what happened.

A silence fell between the two friends as they waited for Naomi's name to be called. The waiting room was quiet except for a nurse coming out every few minutes. Naomi could feel her heart pounding against her ribs as sweat formed on her forehead from the bright lights — at least that's what she convinced herself it was from.

"Naomi Teller?" The nurse called after a few more minutes.

Naomi felt stuck. She heard her name being called but she couldn't move — her body wouldn't allow her to.

"I can't do it." She whispered to Emily, her blue eyes full of tears. "I can't." She repeated as she looked to Emily for an answer.

"It's okay. We can just leave." Emily comforted. "We'll just leave and figure something out." Her voice was calming as Naomi nodded and slowly stood up with Emily's hand still tightly in hers.

"Okay." Naomi whispered as she followed Emily out of the clinic with tears in her eyes.

A million thoughts raced through her mind as Emily led her down the loud and crowded sidewalk. Could she really do this? Could she really have a baby right now?

NAOMI SAT OUTSIDE IN THE COOL NEW YORK CITY AIR, reading some book that her professor had assigned to the class, hoping it would take her mind off of everything— even for just a little bit. Emily had a few classes but promised to pick up some cheesy movies and snacks afterwards so the two could occupy their minds with other things.

"Professor Quinn is still making his class read that old thing?"

Naomi looked up from her book and into the eyes of Miguel Galindo. A small smile formed on her face as she looked back down at the book before looking back up at him. "He says it's a classic." The blonde shrugged, unsure if her professor was correct in his assessment of the old book.

"Classically old and boring." Miguel laughed. "Is it okay if I sit next to you?" He asked, nodding towards the semi empty spot next her.

Naomi nodded, quickly moving her things out of the way. "Of course. It's too nice to be all cooped up inside." Naomi mentally smacked herself at her awkward attempt of small conversation.

Miguel let out a chuckle at the blonde's cute awkwardness. "It is. I can't concentrate in the library when it's this nice out."

Naomi felt herself nod along in agreement with him. She felt a bit better now that he had kept the small conversation going.

It grew quiet better the two of them though it wasn't an awkward one. It was quite comfortable— at least Naomi thought it was and hoped Miguel did too.

"There's this college fair coming up. It's a bit childish but I wasn't wondering if you'd want to go?" Miguel held his breath as he waited for the blonde's answer. He had been meaning to ask her since he saw her, but he hadn't seen much of her lately.

"Oh, uh," Naomi sputtered as she tried to form words. "I'd love too." She smiled watching as a wide smile formed on his handsome face.

"But, just as friends." She added quickly waiting for the smile on Miguel's face to disappear yet it never did. "It's just I —

"You don't have to explain yourself to me." Miguel cut Naomi off. "Friends is perfectly okay with me." He assured the nervous blonde.

Miguel didn't mind going as friends. He just wanted to know more about the beautiful blonde that he couldn't stop thinking about. It sounded crazy maybe even cocky but he already knew that Naomi Teller would be his wife one day.
