"Please don't hurt me!" Dr. Jackson cried again. "You are the only sane person on this station. I feel safe with you" I said. "Hey! Who are!" Another person said but I just blasted them in the face with another throw. His weapon flew into my hand and I gripped it tightly. I found a small closet and ran inside it. "Lock us down Doctor" I said. "Ok ok" she said and locked us in the closet. Outside we heard the sounds of gun fire and people dying. "I knew I should have stayed with the Alliance!" Dr. Jackson said. "Doctor......Henrietta can I call you that?" I asked. "Yes...." She said. "Alliance, a human military faction. Based on Earth in the Sol system. Many former Alliance members join Cerberus when they feel like the Alliance isn't doing enough. That your story?" I asked. "No....Im new to Cerberus....this is my first assignment ever...I was told my husband betrayed the Alliance and was being held prisoner out of fear I ran away and found Cerberus" she said. "Who told you this? Was it anonymous?" I asked. "Yes...." She said. "You should have stayed indeed" I said. Suddenly it got quite outside....real quite. Then a voice broke the silence. "Commander this is a closet security locks engaged" a woman's voice called. "Commander?" I said. "Could it be?" Dr. Jackson said. "Can you crack it Tali?" A male voice said. "No problem Shepherd give me a minute" the female voice said. "Ali? Is that you?" Henrietta asked. She motioned me to hide behind the crates. The door opened and I heard a gasp from Henrietta. "Hen? What are you doing....why are you with Cerberus?" The male voice said. "I was told Dartan betrayed the Alliance and was being held prisoner out of fear I ran" Henrietta said. "Gunnery Chief Jackson is on Mindior helping the colonists he would never betray the alliance. You should know that Hen" he said. "All clear Shepherd however I found a cryo pod in one of the rooms" another woman spoke. "Hen what did Cerberus find? What was in that pod?" The Commander asked.

"An unknown species Ali. We found an derelict ship drifting through space and investigated. Aboard that ship was that pod with a life form inside. It was scanned by our AI and found to share genetic code with Humans and Asari so we brought it in for more study" she said. "Its closely related to Humans and Asari but not either?" Commander Ali said. "Could it be?" The other woman said. "What is it Liara do you know?" Tali asked. "On one of my dig sites I came across a mummified corpse that looked human but had pointed ears like that of what did you humans call them..Elves!" Liara said. "What are they?" Commander Ali asked. "In my research I uncovered their name Elvan a humanoid species that predates the first flight of the Asari" Liara said. "Elvan....is that what you are?" Henrietta asked as she turned around. "Is there someone else in here?" Commander Ali asked. "Its ok I trust the Commander you can come out he won't hurt you" she said. I hesitated then stood up greeted by a gasp from Liara. "Well that's something new" Tali said. Once I laid eyes on the Commander my heart raced. He was handsome, with his bronze colored skin and gorgeous blue eyes a little darker then my own. His black hair braided in an African style and he wore a black sleek armor set. "Yes...my name is Alashi Uraoc" I said introducing myself. "Uraoc....that name come up in my research. Its an old and powerful clan of Elvan you must be royalty" Liara said. I looked at her. "Asari, young only 110? Like me. Your species are among the first to traverse the stars. A monogendered female race known for their beauty and biotic abilities" I said remembering what my ship AI said. Then I looked at Tali. "Quarian, female, young. Your people created the Geth then were driven to exile by them and are now a nomad race" I said. "Smart to" Tali said.

"Wait you are the same age as Liara? Do your people live for 1000 years too?" Commander Ali asked. "Human, male, age around 30? Your species are the most diverse with culture, races, and religion. Originally from Earth in the Sol System Local cluster. Correction I am 212 years old but being in Cryo for the past 100 years makes me only 112" I said. "Where did you come from I thought all of the Elvan were wiped out over 300'000 years ago by the reapers!" Liara asked. "Reapers?" I asked confused. "Let's discuss more back on the Normandy I need to notify the Alliance" Commander Ali said. "Will they try to do experiments on him?" Henrietta asked. "No they would like to know who he is and learn about his race" Commander Ali said. "I cannot say much I must protect my people" I said. "I wouldn't worry about it. The Alliance want to just know about your people their location or anything like that I suspect they wouldn't care too much for unlike Liara here" Commander Ali said. "I just want to know if there are more?" Liara asked. "Yes....I don't know these Reapers but my people are very much alive" I said. A few minutes later I was on board the Normandy in the Commander's quarters. He insisted I stay there for the duration of our trip to something called The Citadel. He sat at his desk going over reports of some kind as I looked at his fish tank. "Alashi can you answer my question from earlier? Do your people age like the Asari?" He asked me. "The oldest recorded Elvan is 2000 years old" I said. "Wow your even older then Asari..." He said. "Yes we are my age by human standards would be about 25-30 in that range" I said. "So your my age then?" He asked. "By human standards yes. To my people I am barely older then a teenager?" I said. "Interesting" he said as I continued to watch his fish swim happily in content.
