The moon cast a pale glow over Hanami High School's courtyard as So-Young, Sang-Woo, Min-Jae, and Eun-ji gathered beneath the cherry blossom trees. The atmosphere was tense, each of them grappling with the weight of the secrets and worries that had come to light.

"So-Young, Sang-Woo," Eun-ji began, her voice trembling slightly. "I overheard some students talking about Seung-Hyun. They said he got into a fight with some upperclassmen."

So-Young's heart sank at the news, her mind racing with concern for Seung-Hyun. She had sensed the turmoil brewing beneath his stoic exterior, but she never imagined it would come to this.

"Do you think he's okay?" Sang-Woo asked, his voice filled with worry.

Eun-ji shook her head, her eyes clouded with uncertainty. "I don't know," she admitted. "But we have to find out."

As they made their way through the deserted school corridors, the weight of their worries pressing down on them like a heavy fog. So-Young couldn't shake the feeling of dread that settled in the pit of her stomach, each step bringing them closer to the truth.

Finally, they reached the secluded courtyard where Seung-Hyun had been rumored to have gotten into a fight. The air was heavy with tension, the silence broken only by the rustling of the cherry blossom trees.

And then they saw him.

Seung-Hyun stood alone in the center of the courtyard, his face bruised and bloodied, his eyes dark with anger and pain. So-Young's heart twisted at the sight of him, her instincts urging her to rush to his side.

"Seung-Hyun!" she called out, her voice filled with concern.

But before she could take another step, a group of upperclassmen emerged from the shadows, their faces twisted into sneers of contempt.

"So, the little prince has come crawling back," one of them taunted, his voice dripping with malice.

Seung-Hyun's jaw clenched at the insult, his fists tightening at his sides. So-Young felt a surge of fear coursing through her veins, knowing that things were about to escalate.

"We need to help him," Min-Jae whispered, his eyes scanning the courtyard for any sign of danger.

But before they could intervene, a voice called out from behind them, freezing them in their tracks.

"What's going on here?"

It was Mr. Park, the school's stern but fair principal, his eyes narrowing as he took in the scene before him. So-Young felt a surge of relief at the sight of him, knowing that he would put a stop to the violence before it escalated any further.

As Mr. Park intervened and the upperclassmen dispersed, So-Young felt a wave of gratitude washing over her. Despite the chaos and uncertainty swirling around them, she knew that as long as they stood together, they could weather any storm.

But little did she know that amidst the blossoming cherry trees and starlit skies, the fractures in their trust ran deeper than she could have ever imagined.

Stay tuned for Chapter 10, where alliances are tested and loyalties are questioned as the consequences of their actions come to light.
