The giants just materialized out of the ground. They had clubs the size of teenagers and swords the size of a man, and worst of all? It was all planned. The most elite soldiers on that ship were slaughtered in mere minutes. Sure they killed about 20, and yes that would be a huge blow to the enemy force, but they were slaughtered. Elites, killed as if they were still recruits. When the giants finished killing the elites, they marched through the trees, and to the beach. The giants were much smarter than they appeared. But, they weren't smarter than a human. They surrounded the small camp. They charged, and like imbeciles, they ran into every single defense the camp had. Logs, arrows, fire, tar, barrels, everything. They lost most of the attack force, but these creatures would not stop, until they reached their goal, or died trying to fulfill it. In about fifteen minutes, everyone was dead, or seriously wounded. What was left of the giants grabbed boulders, and threw them at the warship, knowing nothing about what it could do, but knew it was bad for them. The ship was demolished by flying boulders. The giants finished off any survivors, and sent messengers around the island, so that when the whole island knew of the battle, they would build ships, weapons, and train giants for battle. The humans angered the giants, and now they would pay.
