Shine

It was so boring in PE class. Anna started talking to heather and her popular group and Maya and Liz has been talking more often than before.

Dustin was in his usual position for kickball "look how shiny his earring is." Maya said referring to Dustin "why do boys only have one earring just pierce the other one." Liz said playing with her bracelets.

Dustin turned his body towards Liz, he just stared at her, until the kick ball came flying above him. Everyone that was on the field yelled at Dustin to pay attention but he couldn't help himself, Liz looked at Dustin and saw he was starring at her but he quickly looked away and focused on the person kicking the ball.

"Hey Maya?" Liz said turning her head to Maya

"What's up?" Maya said

"I think Dustin likes me..." Liz said looking down at her converse.

There was a long awkward pause until Maya broke it "are you delusional or something!" Maya said bursting out laughing. Liz thought about it for a second she was not the delusional person Maya was she's the one who thought Brandt and Dustin liked her.

"I'm just saying-" Liz got cut off when Dustin sat right next to Liz, "hey" Dustin said leaning back on the bench. "Uh hi, need something?" Liz asked

"You.." Dustin made it sound so awkward.

"Come again?" Liz asked she knew what Dustin said but she just wasn't sure if she was delusional or not. Maya was just watching everything.

"I said I want you!" Dustin said pretty loud that everyone stopped there conversations and the game  and turned to look at the two. "Uh..." Liz was really embarrassed but she was blushing like crazy.

The bell finally rang and Liz bolted off the bench and ran to the girls locker to change out of her PE clothes.

(Time skip to lunch)

"So he just straight up said I want you?" Jafeer asked eating his lunch "yeah" Liz answered

"That's weird... welp good luck on that Izzy" Jafeer said "What do you mean good luck?" Liz asked "I'm just saying remember what happened with Maya."

"Yeah I guess or-" Liz was going to say something before someone tapped her shoulder, liz turned around and saw Brandt standing behind her holding a piece of paper.

"Yo whaz up this is from Dustin." Brandt said before shoving the paper in Liz's hands before she can say anything. Brandt sped walked back to his table in the cafeteria.

"What does it say?" Sam says, Liz unfolded the note and it read in messy and unspelled words...

Will you go out wit me?

"It says will you go out with me yes no and it has empty box's.

"WhT are you going to choose?" Gabe asked

"We'll he's cute so yes." she got out a green gell pen and put a check mark in the empty box that yes.

Yes [  ✔️ ]
No  [    ]

"We'll good for you." Jafeer said rolling his eyes, what's his problem??? Liz got up and walked up to Dustin, "here" she said giving him the note that said her answer. She sped walked away and back to her seat with a warm smile on her face and a little bit of blush.

Jafeer just looked at her again and then back at his food and kept eating.
