Lilith's heart was leaping and her thoughts were clouded with fear as she felt her stomach churn in pain. Perry was still asleep the whole day, and it won't be long before dusk once again. Lilith was unable to do anything, afraid of her dearest friend's condition. She watched him sleep and snore, she could still feel his heart but how could he not be awake? She was frustrated and anxious. She tried to breath calmly, taking deep breaths and holding back her tears. She couldn't take it anymore. She stood up from her couch and sat by Perry's side on the carpet. He was peacefully sleeping, his wound still trying to recover, and his food was barely untouched.

"Perry. . ." Lilith mumbled, her eyes starting to blur. "I'm sorry, it's all my fault." She cried, and stroked his fur she couldn't help it now, her tears starting to fall from her eyes. She thoughts about Perry's suffering and the pain he's enduring. She couldn't take it, her heart was beating like drums and her body was shaking as if it was electrocuted. She layed down on the carpet while she caressed her dear dog, Perry. Her heart feels heavy and her tears can't seem to stop. The thoughts in her mind were jumbled, the people in her town suffering, being unable to find the uncertain existence of the flower, and Perry. She wept and cried softly as she tried to contain herself.

The moon glowed from the window, it's moonlight shone on Perry and Lilith. She kept on whiping her tears yet it keeps on falling.

"Lilith. . ." A soft voice said, Lilith wiped her tears and saw Peo. Peo went to Lilith's side and sat beside her. "What's wrong?" she asked gently, she stared softly with worry in her eyes. Lilith can't put herself to speak, she felt her throat gone dry the more she tried to put the words out of her lips. Peo noticed the struggle, she patted Lilith on her back as she gently stroked it. "It's alright, Lilith, let it all out. Everything's going to be just fine. I'm here for you." Peo said as if she was whispering. She watched her cry and slowly Lilith shifted closer to Peo. Peo slowly and gently wrapped her arms on Lilith, she cried even more as she hugged Peo tightly.

"I-It's all my f-fault." She cried as she sniffed. "P-perry would've been sa-safe if it w-wasn't for me." She said, Peo felt her heart sting from hearing her voice and feeling her body tremble. Peo gently caressed her hair.

"No Lilith, none of it was your fault. It was never your intention to harm Perry. You were just trying your best to find that flower, so you can help your people." Peo said as she continued to stroke down her long icy blonde hair, little by little Lilith's cry started to break off. She sniffed and slowly pulling away from Peo. Peo saw Lilith's swollen eyes and somehow Peo felt her body gone weak. Peo held Lilith's cheek as she wiped of Lilith's tear with her thumb. She slightly smiled at Lilith. She stared at Lilith's blue puffy eyes and her rosy cheeks and nose. Lilith looked away, and covered her face with her hands.

"T-thank you, Peo. " She said as she took a deep breath. Peo stood up and held out her hand to Lilith.

"Come on now Lilith, do you want to search in the forest or would you need some rest for now?" Peo asked softly with her gentle eyes. "Maybe it's best to just rest for the night, you seem so exhausted, I'll go look for the flower for you." Peo said as Lilith placed her hand on Peo's, Lilith's hands were soft while Peo's hands were rough and callused. Lilith held her hands tightly.

"N-no, I'm going with you." Lilith said and stood up. She once again looked at Perry who were just sleeping.

"Don't worry about Perry, he will be just fine." Peo said and patted her back.

Lilith and Peo went off to the forest, the moon was full and there were clouds in the dark blue sky. The direction that Lilith and Peo went was different from the last time they went through, the forest was filled of dark oak trees and there were small white flowers on the grass.

"So, this is the Faelium forest they said. I've asked some travellers earlier if they ever know such a flower called Selenethia. However, neither of the travellers have ever heard of it before." Peo said while she walked with a lamp on her hand. Lilith was beside her and was looking up at Peo. Peo looked calm, her emerald green eyes looking straight to the path, Lilith noticed that apart from the freckles on her cheeks, there were moles on her neck. "Fortunately, I've come across someone, a witch. She sells potions and services dark magic." Lilith's eyes widen.

"You went to the black market?!" Lilith asked, Peo gave her a side eye and her gaze went back straight to the path, keeping herself cautious.

"Sort of, yes. The lady said that it is a possible myth. Yet, it can also be possible to see at the right moment and time." Peo said, the more they walked the more that they can hear the sound of flowing streams. The moonlight seems to glow brighter than it was before.

"Sort of? You're really stirring up my curiousity, Ms. Mysterious freckled woman." Lilith said as she huffed and crossed her arms. Peo chuckled at her adorable expression.

"You'll get to know it soon, Little Ms. Baby blue eyes." Peo said as she smiled, they both stared into each other's eyes, it was soft and endearing as they both blinked at each other slowly. Peo gazed at Lilith's once puffy blue eyes, to her rosy cheeks, her pale skin, and her pink plumpy lips. Peo looked away, her gaze went to the cloudy sky and the moon. "Look, isn't the moon beautiful, Lilith?" Peo said as Lilith looked up, Peo's gaze slowly went back to look at her, her blue eyes reflecting the moon. Peo's heart smiled. Her eyes went back to the path.

"It surely is, Peo." Lilith said as she smiled. From that moment, she felt at ease. The troublesome thoughts she once had earlier seems to fade, the worry was gone as hope arised.

Lilith noticed that Peo stopped from her track. There was a mountain and a lot of trees on their way. Some particles of leaves slowly falling off from its branches. There seems to be no more way to go, yet Peo continued to walk to the wall of vines, leaves and bushes. She stopped as Lilith followed. Peo raised her hand to the vines, slowly touching it and then she cleared off the vines on the way.

"And here we are, the Secret of Faelium Forest."
