I was cleaning my room and I finally found my glasses, it took me long enough I could barely see.  Putting them on the world was so much more clearer than before which I am glad for. I rested my head on my knees tired as it has been at least months since I have slept well and Avery hasn't been around a lot. I want to drift off to sleep but memory's of foster homes are fresh in my mind. I don't want to have the memories I just want to forget it, I feel a scar burning on my back as if it is reminding me of how much it hurts. I get up from the floor and walk out of the room wanting some fresh air, I see Luke sitting on the couch scrolling on his phone. It is normal that we ignore each other it happens everyday, I grab a cup of lemonade and walk out to the nearby park to rest and forget things. I saw Percy sitting on a bench while I climbed up my favorite tree resting on one of the highest branches. The view was beautiful and I forgot about my problems for a bit until I saw Percy joining me. "Nice glasses I haven't seen them before." He says staring into the sky. "I lost them for some time and thanks I guess." I mumble and Percy has a goofy grin on his face and I just roll my eyes. We sit in silence before I jump down and run home.
