A mirror, staring at myself

A reflection that I don't like

My own eyes, looking at me, judging

My body, a shame to the world

My thoughts, a prison that I made

A moment

And I realise

That it was all an illusion

Made to torment me

My own mind, hating me

But then, a different thought

Love, for myself

And the mirror, became a friend

And I, loved myself again.
