After a thrilling win against U.S.A, Shubman was sitting with Virat in the team room. He was visibly very sad.He had his knees curled up to his chest with his hands locking them. "Kya hua Shubi" Virat asked,getting a little tensed to see Shubman in this state. Shubman put his head on Virat's shoulder and said "Ishan,Rahul bhaiya,Ash bhaiya aur Shreyas bhaiya ki yaad aa rahi hai" Virat could clearly see that Shubman was on the verge of crying and crying real hard. So,he engulfed Shubi in a hug to calm him down but it wasn't successful enough. The others wouldn't lie that they too,were missing everyone who wasn't in the squad. Shubman had now started crying and as expected,real hard. His grip on Virat's t-shirt was real hard. He was crying his heart out. Virat couldn't see his baby in such a condition. Nobody wanted to see anybody like this. Just then,Surya entered the room "Virat bhaiya- Arey Shubi,baccha kya hua?" He sat next to Virat and a crying Shubi. Virat told him the reason. Surya engulfed Shubman in a side hug to calm him down. "Baccha,koi nhi hum sabko unki yaad aa rhi hai........" Surya paused for a moment before giving Shubi an idea" Tu aisa kr ki Ishu se bol vo yahan aa jaye aur vaise bhi tu abhi Super 8 ke liye west Indies sa jaue aur vaise bhi tu to jaa nhi raha hai to tum dono yahan apna time spend krna aur agar tujhe Super 8 ke liye aana bhi pada, to tu Ishan ko vahan le aana. Aur vaise bhi wives to allowed hai na." Surya explained teasing Shubman in the end. The last sentence bought Shubman's smile back. He decided to call Ishu.
After an hour of talking with Ishan,Shubman returned to the team room and told everyone that Ishan will come day after tomorrow. Upon hearing this, everybody started jumping like maniacs" Finally meri kishmish vapas aa rhi hai" Rohit exclaimed,fake crying.
TIME SKIP TO DAY AFTER TOMORROW AT THE AIRPORT.
Shubman was sitting on the benches which were unlikely empty. He was wearing all black with a black cap and black goggles.Anybody from afar could not recognise him. He had his headphones on. Suddenly a stranger came and sat next to him. Shubman just ignored him. The stranger patted a little on Shubman's shoulder. Shubman removed his headphones and said "Yes how- ISHAN!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK! BABYYY!!!". Shubman hugged him so tight that he couldn't breathe. When they pulled out Shubman was about to kiss him when Ishan put his hand on Shubman's lips "Not here baby,we're at the airport" Shubman grabbed Ishan's wrist and took him to the car
When they reached the car,Shubman unbuckled Ishan's belt and pulled him onto his lap and started kissing him. It was a long kiss,it conveyed how impatient they were...
