They had to leave the bathroom before his brother knocked the door down... or got arrested for disturbing the piece with his now-constant banging on it.

They both knew that Reed wouldn't dare touch him, though, and while Cassius was more than willing to go head to head with his brother, Sailor wasn't interested in patching up two guys from a preventable fight, so he pushed Cass to the back of the small room and stepped forward.

Taking his spot in front of the door, he took a few deep breaths, then grabbed the handle with a shaky hand and turned it to disengage the lock.

He expected the door to swing open and his brother to come charging in, but perhaps he realized that it was him opening it, and instead of it slamming back into him, Reed let him slowly open it to reveal his infuriated expression.

"Reed, I—" he was cut off immediately.

"Cassius, get your ass over here and stop hiding behind my brother!" Reed roared as his fists clenched tightly at his sides, ready to be thrown at any second.

Sailor held a hand up behind him, signaling that he wanted Cassius to stay there, which only made his brother angrier.

"Reed, I—"

"No! This guy is a fucking man whore! You could pick anyone else here and I'd tolerate it, but not him!" Reed yelled, clearly not interested in talking things out.

Sailor was just opening his mouth to try and calm him down for a third time when Reed started stepping forward, no longer willing to be held back.

In the blink of an eye, Sailor's human body vanished and before anyone even had time to look down, a loud roaring-bark shook the walls of the little bathroom.

Reed froze in an instant, and while Sailor couldn't see Cassius, as he was still behind him, he doubted that the man would make any rash moves, either. He could, however, hear his thoughts loud and clear.

Holy shit he's so fucking adorable! I wanna smoosh his little rolls!

Now really isn't the time for that...

Reed recovered from his shock after a few moments, but he'd clearly been knocked down a peg or two.

"Splash, this really isn—" Splash cut him off with another loud, abrupt bark.

"I really don't thin—" another bark.

"Spl—" a bark-snort.

Reed finally shut his mouth, but his eyes didn't stop glaring past Splash to Cassius.

Thankfully, Cassius was completely focused on Splash, and still mentally gushing over him. He didn't have time for Reed's frustrations.

In fact, after a few more moments of silence he squatted down and reached forward, tapping the thick skin on part of Splash's tail the slightest amount.

"So cute..."

Splash didn't seem as impressed as he swung his head back in an overexaggerated excuse me gesture and snorted over his shoulder, making Cass quickly lift his hands up in surrender.

Splash let him off easy, since their real issue was still standing in front of them, glaring at Cass as if he was some guy that had been trying to get his little sister pregnant.

With a loud huff, Splash began waddling forward, forcing Reed to step back with each bit of pathetic momentum he managed.

Anyone else would have likely just jumped over him to get to Cassius, but his brother hadn't seen Splash in years, and he knew that he wouldn't want to make the situation worse by upsetting him further.
