We passed Colby's house and now it was just me and Asher walking to our homes which were practically right next to each other. It was still as gloomy as before, but now the clouds were painted in deep blue's and shades of pink hinting at its edges.

Me and Asher decided to take a small shortcut and explore a famous, abandoned church that looked like it was 80 years old. The parking lot beside it was cracked with wrinkles of its old age, plants growing out of it like parasites to the old land.

This old run down church was alive and bustling on the Sunday mornings of 1925. Now left to rot due to police investigating 3 missing families who were found behind the Organ, in a locked crawl space the church said they used to 'discipline' sinners in 1937.

The church has been shut down ever since.

The victims having multiple crosses cut into their wrists, necks, face, legs, and arms. The place was said to be haunted by the small children who had been traumatized by the poor occurrence.

"I heard Ed and Lorraine Warren refused to go to this place because of reports of demonic activity."

Asher commented, his eyes darting around the building, taking in the old church of the holy spirit. The lone street light that is placed in the middle of four parking spots dimly lit up the parking lot as they approached the building.

She nodded, her eyes studying the entryway before quickly moving to an open door.

"Someones either in here, or theres fucking ghosts"

She laughed stepping onto the dead and mangled plant life that surrounded the building, the door creaked open as Asher shined his flashlight into it.
The place had been totally wrecked , graffiti over the walls, a - no multiple unholy crosses painted along the walls surrounding the giant stone statue of a man.

"Damn that statue got an ass"

"Asher! You cant say that, this is a church!"

[Y/N] exclaimed at her friend's words, laughing softly shaking her head. She suddenly developed a strange feeling in her head, almost like someone else was there.
They were both interrupted from a high-pitched teenage girl scream coming from a room behind the holy statues. Me and Asher gave each other a look before not speaking a word, trying to listen in on who was there.

"AH-Don't scare me like that~!"

The oh so familiar sound of an absolutely stuck up pick me b*tch who was hopelessly 'in love' with someone her age. The voice of two echoed , their laughter mangling in with one another in a harmonizing manner. Soon another voice emerged from the room, a male voice.

"Sorry sorry didn't mean to scare ya like that there~"

Her eyes narrowed, that was the sound of someone she knew and was well familiar with, a voice she knew very well masked behind the slender wall of the church. Asher and [Y/N] gave each other a knowing look, slowly approaching the old wooden door.

When they approached the door, a peep hole in the door gave the pair eyes vision to the room. It was presumably said to be a room where all of the nuns, priests and cardinals would go and sleep in. The place looked like it had been somewhat trashed with beer bottles littered across the flooring, graffiti with upside down crosses painted along the walls.

She raised a finger to her mouth, turning her head to Asher signaling to be quiet. Two figures came into vision as they danced across the floor of the abandoned church. A taller male figure who looked to be around 5'10, had short ruffled blonde hair with specks of brown poking out. The figure was turned around but was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and black ripped jeans with white sneakers.

The other figure seemed to be feminine, with long blonde hair and a tight top with baggy sweatpants that looked like they were not hers. She was wearing Nike Blazers, along with a black puffer vest that was way too small for her, and most likely did not provide any warmth either.

She immediately recognized the two as Sam, one of their best friends and Hayden, someone who they despised. A mix of confusion and jealousy laid on [Y/N]'s face as she observed the two through the peephole.

"Is that.."

Asher started, correcting himself so he couldn't be heard by the pair chatting in the room next to them.

"Sam and Hayden? Yeah."

[Y/N] mumbled under her breath coldly, silently pulling her friend along with her to the exit of the church. Her expression said what needed to be said, her boots clashing against piles of dirt and concrete.

When they were out of the building, a long heavy sigh left her lips as she fiddled with her fingers. She could absolutely not believe that the two of them were doing the thing that they would usually do together. It hit a certain vain in her that almost caused her to pop a blood vessel. Really? Hayden out of all people?

"Well that's a shocker that Haydens trying to win him over."

Asher whispered abruptly, kicking a little pebble along the cracked sidewalk. The two tread towards each of their respective homes, using the eerie glow of street lamps to light their path. [Y/N] could not get the thought out of her head of Sam and that witch together, it enraged her in a way she had never felt before.

"He probably already fell into her trap a long time ago when she started wearing those clothes showing off her ugly body."

Asher looked over to her with remorse, he always knew that she had a thing for sam, it was obvious. There was nothing they could do about Sam and Hayden though, especially if Hayden is basically attached to his arm.

"Alright this is my road, see you tomorrow right?"

[Y/N] let the question linger before nodding her head and continuing to move forward. The stroll back to her home was longer than she expected, the more and more she walked down the road the more [Y/N] realized that this wasn't her road, and in fact was walking towards something entirely different than her home.

At one point the sidewalk melted in with the road and now she was just walking along side the bike lane. The late winter breeze still lingering at this time of night. Her head tilted down to her watch, 1:38 AM. That's awfully late for only leaving the church at 8:00. Suspicion filled her head, taking a glance at the unfamiliar surroundings.

There was only a couple suburban houses on this small road, it was a dead end leading to a dark forest. On the edge of the woods there was a white van that looked a bit run down along with some pitch black jeeps surrounding it. [Y/N] checked her phone to see where she was, no street signs or anything. No service, of course.

"Whats a sweet thing like you doin' ere at this hour?"
