Lorenzo POV

As the morning light filtered through my window, signaling the start of a new day, I reluctantly glanced at the clock and let out a groan. It was already 10 am, earlier than I preferred to wake up. Despite my reluctance, I knew I had a long day ahead at Nevermore School and needed to get moving. Stretching and yawning, the excitement of my final year at the school lingered in the back of my mind.

After completing my morning routine, carefully selecting my outfit, and packing for the journey to Jericho, I set off on the serene drive. The sun cast a warm glow through the windows while lively music played on the radio. As I approached the familiar gates of Nevermore, a mix of nostalgia and anticipation washed over me.

Stepping out of the car, I marveled at the grandeur of the school building and its lush surroundings. The buzz of students reuniting after the break filled the air as I settled into my dorm room, feeling a surge of determination for the year ahead. After unpacking, I made my way to the Quad to meet up with my partner and a close friend.

Enid and Wednesday greeted me with warm smiles, and we decided to catch up at the café in town. As we strolled, I accidentally bumped into two mysterious boys with a goth-like vibe. Their aloof demeanor and striking resemblance left me unsettled, but I brushed it off, focusing on the joy of reuniting with friends and the promising year ahead.

"How was everyone's summer break?" I asked.

Enid expressed her relief that the break was over and she could spend the whole school year with us. I reassured her that after the school year, we would have all the time to spend together, especially since we had plans to travel the world. Wednesday, clearly unimpressed by our conversation, sipped her coffee in silence.

Returning to school, I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched by the goth-like boys. Their cold stares unnerved me, but I remained confident in my abilities. Despite their unsettling presence, I delved into my classes and extracurricular activities, relishing the challenges Nevermore offered.

As days passed, rumors of mysterious figures and strange occurrences spread through the school. The goth-like boys' enigmatic aura grew more ominous, and I felt compelled to uncover the mystery. Against the warnings of my friends, curiosity led me to follow the boys one evening.

In a dimly lit chamber, I discovered the boys standing before a swirling vortex of dark energy. Their otherworldly presence confirmed my suspicions that they were not ordinary students. A surge of power coursed through me as I prepared to face the supernatural challenge ahead.

In a silent exchange of understanding, I realized that my final year at Nevermore School would be a test of courage and the true extent of my powers. The stage was set for a battle of supernatural proportions, and I was determined to emerge victorious, no matter the cost.
