The Lone Wolf and The Reaper

As Enid made it back to the school, she was already too late. The SilverBlades were there. "Wednesday, they are here for Pierre and Lorenzo," Enid screamed over to Wednesday. "He knows now, run Enid." As Pierre stepped forward, he began his transformation, and Jason began his.

The SilverBlades still outmatched the two mythical legends, but Wednesday stood to the left with her bow and arrow. As Pierre snapped his fingers, making the sky go dark, Enid howled to the moon now on display, transforming into a werewolf, now stood the protectors of Nevermore School. The SilverBlades laid their guns down and brought out their bladed weapons. After what felt like minutes, both teams rushed at each other.

Enid kicked the sword out of one of the hunters before biting at the neck of the hunter, killing him. Wednesday shot an arrow at the hunter in front of her, but his reaction was swift, slicing the arrow in half. Jason and Pierre battled the other two hunters as the remaining hunter that Wednesday was fighting grabbed her, lifting her up. A car could be heard as it drove towards the fight, crashing into the hunter holding Wednesday. As she fell, another werewolf caught her, placing her carefully on the ground. By now, anyone knew the blue-eyed wolf, and sure as hell, Wednesday was glad to know that special person.

As the hunter rose from the now damaged car, he moved towards Lorenzo. In a revengeful way Lorenzo picked up the hunter, pierced his claws through the hunter's chest, removing the heart, and slamming the hunter to the ground. "Thanks for the assist, Lorenzo," Wednesday thanked him. Lorenzo made his way to help the others, but luckily there was no need as they had killed the remaining hunters.

As Jason and Pierre returned to their human form, another hunter appeared, aiming his gun at Pierre. Lorenzo, still in his wolf form, ran towards Pierre. Jason aimed his arms towards the remaining hunter, firing flames towards him. As the hunter released a bullet, Lorenzo lunged at Pierre, taking the shot.

As the hunter screamed from being burned alive, Enid stomped on its head, putting it out of its misery. Lorenzo returned to his human form, picking up some clothes from his crashed car. He looked down at his stomach, seeing the silver blood leaking from him as he fell to his knees. Pierre, Jason, and Wednesday rushed to his aid as he fell down fully. Enid, back in her human form, rushed over as Wednesday chucked her a jacket to cover herself.

"You said you were gonna stay away," Enid said as she began to cry. "I thought about it, and it's not the Parker way. I'm sorry, Enid, but I had to come back. I couldn't leave my friends to fight my battles; it's just not fair. Turns out they were gonna kill you guys too." Lorenzo replied to Enid gasping for air. "He'll be okay, right? He'll just heal and be back soon like last time?" Wednesday asked as she also began to cry.

For the first time, Pierre looked at them all and spoke. "I'm afraid not. Not even his healing ability can save him from a silver bullet. I'm so sorry, Wednesday and Enid, but now would be a good time to say your goodbyes." Jason and Pierre stood up and stepped back, leaving Enid and Wednesday to say their final farewells. "Well, looks like they finally got me, eh. You take care of my Enid, Wednesday, and Enid, I love you so much. Now it's time for me to go."

As Lorenzo was saying his final words, more hunters appeared, shooting towards Enid and Wednesday. Jason fired a fire barrier between them as Pierre grabbed Enid and Wednesday to make a run for it. "No, no, get off of me; we can't just leave him here," Enid cried, trying to unwrap herself off Pierre. "I'm sorry, Enid, but he's gone. We have to go; don't make his sacrifice unworthy. Now run," Jason shouted as they all made a run for it.

As they all reached the car park, they entered Jason's car as he sped off away from Nevermore Academy. "Now what?" Wednesday asked Jason. "Now we find somewhere safe to hide until we find out how to stop these hunters."

Enid sobbed uncontrollably in the backseat, mourning the loss of Lorenzo for real this time. Wednesday reached out and held her hand, offering a comforting presence in the midst of chaos. Jason drove with determination, his jaw set in a firm line as he navigated the dark and winding roads away from the school.

They drove for what felt like hours, the tension in the car palpable. Finally, Jason pulled into a secluded cabin nestled deep in the woods. The four of them exited the car, and Jason led them inside, locking the door behind them.

"We'll be safe here for a while," Jason stated, his voice filled with a sense of urgency. "But we need to figure out our next move. These hunters won't stop until they've taken us all down."

Enid wiped her tears and looked at Wednesday and Jason with determination in her eyes. "We can't let Lorenzo's sacrifice be in vain. We need to fight back, protect ourselves, and find a way to stop these SilverBlades once and for all."

Wednesday nodded in agreement, her bow at the ready. "We'll stand together, just like we did back at the school. We're stronger as a team, and we won't let them win."

Jason's gaze was steely as he spoke, "We'll make a plan, train, and be prepared for whatever comes our way. We won't back down, not now, not ever."

As the night grew darker outside the cabin, the four of them huddled together, united in their resolve to face the challenges ahead. The SilverBlades may have taken one of their own, but they would not rest until justice was served, and they were free from the threat that loomed over them. As the night progressed a loud knocking on the cabin door could be heard. Enid woke to the sound and began making her way to the door. As she opened the door....
