12- AGAIN

"Ruby has gotten so big, Remi!" Jungkook said as he ruffled the dog's soft fur.

He had been trying to cheer up Remi since Jimin left five days ago but Jungkook didn't know exactly how to make her feel better.

He had lived alone for way too long.

Jungkook's only interactions with people were right before he killed them. He also was never interested in other vampires or any other supernatural beings to create friendships, most of them are pure egoistic and just killing machines.

"She's two months old now huh? You said she was 3 weeks old when she came in." He asked and looked over at the petite girl beside him.

Remi simply nodded and cracked a small smile at the sight of the bulky vampire petting Ruby on his lap.

"You are a big girl now, aren't you Ruby-Duby? " Jungkook flicked her ears and pecked Ruby's moist nose.

"Ruby-Duby?" Remi chuckled at the nickname causing Jungkook to clear his throat in embarrassment.

"I ummm.... I don't know I just came up with it." Jungkook muttered and formed his lips into a shy little smile.

"Oh, who knew that the big bad vampire would turn soft for a dog?" Remi picked up her dog from Jungkook's lap and placed it right on her stomach after stretching her short legs to rest them on Jungkook's thick thighs.

His muscles tensed up as Remi's calves layed on him and he gulped as his sharp black eyes slowly traveled up her smooth exposed legs.

"I'm sorry-"

"No it's fine." Jungkook cut her off and stopped Remi from taking her legs off.

"You're improving Jungkook- you might not know this but you did good today." Remi proudly stared at his handsome face.

"But I didn't really do anything." He confusingly looked at her.

"No you did. You've been trying to cheer me up and you keep going out of your comfort zone, Kook." Remi's jade green eyes didn't move away from Jungkook's.

"Kook?" He tilted his head.

"Yes Kook- it's cuter and shorter than 'Jungkook'. " she glanced down at Ruby and blushed.

"I'm everything but cute, Rems." Jungkook leaned his upper body on the couch and places his huge hand one one of Remi's legs.

"Rems?" She stuttered and Jungkook could hear how her heart started to beat faster with each moment.

"Yeah... It's cute and you're definitely the cute type." Jungkook breathed out and tilted his head back causing his Addam's apple to pop out even more.

Remi clenched her slim thighs together and strocked Ruby's fur faster.

Jungkook popped one eye open and glanced at her thin legs.

"You must gain a little bit of weight, Rems." He softly said and cupped Remi's right thigh to measure it with his huge palm.

She brought her knees closer to her chest causing Ruby to hop off her lap.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, I won't ever touch you again like that." He immediately withdraw his tattooed hand back and scooted away from Remi.

"No it's not that..... I just feel a little insecure about my body right now... I'm too skinny- I want to, you know get my old body back and actually look like a woman instead of a bony little girl." She whispered and nervously played with her small fingers.

"Hey, I didn't mean it that way. You're honestly one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen, Rems don't ever say that again. I just want you to be healthy." Jungkook widened his eyes and got closer to her again.
