"IT DOESN'T MATTER WHATVI DID... HE ONLY SEES ME, FOR WHO I AMMMM" I sung out loud as I cleaned up my closet. It was a mess in here.
"HE SAW THE BEST IN ME... THE BEST THE BEST..." I sung out some more, I was feeling this song. The Best In Me by Marvin Sapp.
"Incoming call from Bestie Jay🩷🩷" Siri said cutting off the music.
"Helloooo" I said as shen got connected through my AirPods.
"Do you want to go get some breakfast, I'm hungry and I want to go to church today" Jayda said making me stop what I was doing to make sure I was hearing right.
"Jayda wants to go to church" I said kind of happy and shocked at the same time.
"Yes I do lol. It's been so long since we both went. So what do you say" she said I could hear her moving around. I looked at the time and it was 8:30.
"I'll go. You want me to come to you" I told her as I went over to my dresses to find a nice, modest dress to wear.
"I'll come get you since I asked you. Everything on me today" she said and I smiled.
"That's a bet. I'll be ready shortly" I told her before hanging up. I began to look through my clothes getting a little frustrated because I can't find anything.
"Maybe I shouldn't go" I said to myself, while playing with my fingers.
"I think you should go" I heard from behind me causing me to jump. I turned around and it was Dave leaning in the doorway.
"When you get up and why you think that" I asked him.
"I been up, just listening to you sing. And I think you should go because it'll be good for you. The only time I've seen you go to church was when the kids were first born" he said while walking up to me grabbing my hands.
"Will you go with me" I asked him already knowing the answer.
"Somebody gotta watch the kids. The lord knows my heart" he said before kissing me a few times.
"But forea. I think you should go. You will enjoy it. I know you will" he said and I nodded my head, turning back around to find an outfit. After a few more minutes I found a nice yellow skirt set. It still had the tags on it.
"If imma start going to church I need more covered up clothes" I said to myself as I laid out the dress. It was now 8:50 so I went ahead and got in the shower so I could wash up. Once I got out it was 9:10 and I had to start on my hair, I wasn't gonna do too much. Just a middle part, light baby hairs. After I finish my hair, I put my clothes on along with my heels.
"Mamas Jayda is downstairs waiting on you" Dave said while leaning in my closet.
"Okay I'm almost done" I said while switching my purses. I stood up looking at myself in the mirror.
