"You say you wanna do a women's empowerment event" I asked her just to make sure I'm hearing right.
"Yes papa. I mean it would be a good thing. Plus right now in today's world us women need to be lifted up in some type of way. So I was thinking mommy makeover's, hair done, makeup, nails & toes, lashes, and girly stuff. And also I can have some people come and speak as well" Ari said while looking up around the ceiling.
"What if we make it a couples type of thing. Instead of"
"Nope. Women first and then couples. Ouuu paaaaa okay hear me out, what if on the same day I do my women's event, you can do something for the men. Now that would be dope as fuck" Ari said while standing up on our bed excitedly. I laughed at her because she was so cute.
"I'm serious" she said kind of sad which made me stop laughing.
"I know mamas I know. But what if we focus on 1 event at a time. Let's start planning for your women's empowerment event first and let's see how that goes" I told her and she had a huge smile on her face. I swear I could see all 32 of her teeth.
"AHHHHHH" she screamed out while jumping in the bed. Next thing I know she was in my lap giving me all kinds of kisses.
"mamas.... Mamas you gonna..... gonna burn your hair. I got this blunt" I said trying not to burn her hair.
"I'll get some more hair but I'm just sooooo happy. I gotta make flyers, call vendors, gotta get my team on board. I just got so much stuff to do" she said while getting up walking towards the bathroom.
"Why am I gonna do with this girl" I did to myself. But overall I'm real happy that she is deciding to do something like this. It'll put her in the good for the public's eye.
"Ouuu I gotta call Jayda and tell her" Ari said as she walked out the bathroom, getting back in the bed.
"Baby it's 1:11 in the morning, she probably sleep. Just like we should be..... sleep" I said while inhaling the last of my blunt before I put it out. I didn't want to smoke it all, just so I can finish it in the morning.
"That girl don't never sleep trust me." She said while grabbing her phone. I shrugged my shoulders and decided to watch S.W.A.T. I blocked her out letting sleep take over me.
.........(Next Morning)
"Baby wake upppp" I heard Ari say while she was shaking me. I pulled her down onto the bed while moving on top of her, going back to sleep.
"Nooooo David. It's already 1:30pm. We have to go, we're already late" she said pushing me off of her, I rubbed my eyes before sitting up on the bed.
"Late for what and why you let me sleep so late mamas" I said as I stood up stretching my body, once I was done, I walked towards our bathroom so I could use it.
