"You so damn beautiful girl, I don't know why you be having all that makeup on" Dave said to me. We were on FaceTime, I was back at work. And I loved every second of it, back in the shop as well. Dave hired security to be here during the open hours and 24/7 police watch.
"Thank you pa" I said while smiling. I looked across the street seeing Jayda was getting out of her car, making her way in the shop.
"Who you looking at" Dave said making me look down at him.
"All in my business. But I was looking at Jayda. Are you happy that her and Jay are having a baby? I'm very excited" I asked him.
"I'm happy. I hope it's a boy though. We have way too many girls" Dave said while looking at whatever he was looking at, he was at the studio.
"Well imma let you go sir, I just wanted to hear your voice that's all" I told him, while grabbing my purse so I could get out.
"Alright mamas. I love you and I'll see you later" Dave said, I blew him a kiss before ending our FaceTime. I got out the car making sure to lock it after I got out. I walked back in the shop, and it felt different for some reason. Like something was going to happen, but I don't know if it's good or bad.
"Hey Ari your 3:00 appointment just rescheduled for another day. So you have 2 hours of free time" Deanna told me and I just nodded my head and smiled at her.
"That's coo. Can I do your hair. I wanna try a style out" I asked her and she smiled.
"Yeah but who gonna watch the front" she asked me and I just waved her back. She was following me to my station. She sat in my seat, as I got the hair tracks.
"I'm going to do a versatile sew in on you" I said to her. The song Good Thing by Pretty Willie was playing.
"This my shit" Deanna said while dancing in the chair, it made me laugh. I pulled a cape out to put around her. I took her hair out of the ponytail she had it in.
"You have some beautiful hair. It's long, and thick. I love it" I told her as I leaned my seat back, so I could wash her hair. It didn't take me long to wash her hair and braid her down.
"You ready to get glammed up" I asked her and she just smiled at me. ...................... "You so beautifullllll omggg. Turn around" I told her while recording her. She did as told. I posted it to my instagram.
"Is it anything else you need me to do for today." She asked me and I thought about it.
"No, you are good to go if you want" I said to her as I cleaned my area up. My phone vibrated and I looked at it, and I saw the Zelle notification making me look at Deanna.
"See you later love" Deanna said as she walked towards the door. I just laughed as I continued to clean my station. I heard the door alarm go off but I paid it no mind, until I heard all the ladies saying "awww" so I turned around.
