Ghost turns off the light and heads to bed, unaware of my plans. Two hours pass, and he gets up to use the bathroom. I seize the opportunity, slipping out of the closet and closing the door behind me.

I climb out the window, landing gracefully on the ground thanks to my hybrid abilities. My senses are on high alert as I scan my surroundings, spotting a path into the forest.

As I dash into the woods, the trees seem to close in around me, their branches tangling above my head like a protective canopy. The moon casts eerie shadows on the ground, making it seem like the trees are moving, their limbs reaching out to snatch at my clothes. I hear the distant howl of a wolf, and my heart races in response. But I don't slow down, my feet pounding against the earth as I flee from Ghost's wrath.

Finally, after what feels like an eternity, I see a clearing up ahead. I burst into it, my chest heaving with exhaustion. The moonlight illuminates the space, casting a silver glow over the wildflowers that grow there. I collapse onto the soft earth, my body trembling with fear and exertion.

As I lie there, I realize that I'm farther from the base than I've ever been before, the silence broken only by the distant hooting of an owl. But I'm too exhausted to care. I curl up on the ground, wrapping my tail around me like a blanket. My eyes droop, and I let out a soft sigh. It feels good to be free.

Ghost's Pov.

I storm through the woods, my anger burning hotter with every step. How dare she try to escape me? I own her, body and soul. I've paid top dollar for her, and she thinks she can just run away?

I spot her huddled in a clearing, her eyes closed as if she thinks she's safe. My rage boils over, and I pounce, grabbing her hair and yanking her to her feet. She struggles, but I'm too strong. I drag her back to the base, my grip on her hair tightening with every step.

When we reach the base, I slam her against the wall, my hand closing around her throat. "You think you can escape me?" I snarl, my voice low and menacing. "You think you can outrun me?"

She tries to speak, but I squeeze her throat tighter, cutting off her words. I'm beyond reason, beyond control. All I can see is her defiance, her disobedience. And I lash out, my fists flying as I strike her again and again.

When Ghost is finally done he shoves me into the closet and slams the doors shut.

My body hurts. I want to scream and cry but I can. Everything blacks out.

The next day, Ghost opens the closet door, ordering me to get up and get ready for training. But I can't respond, my body still wracked with pain. He shouts at me again, but I'm unable to move. It feels like a bus ran over me.

Ghost's anger boils over, he grabs me by my tale and he drags me out of the closet, leaving me limp and bruised on the floor.

Fuck!! Ghost shouts. Ghost picks up his phone and calls the medic.
He trows his phone down onto the bed. He grabs me by my hair and shouts at me to get up.

The medic rushes in, his eyes scanning the scene before him. "What happened?" he asks, his voice firm but controlled.

Ghost's grip on my hair tightens. "She tried to escape," he growls. "She thought she could outrun me."

The medic's eyes flicker to me, and he quickly moves to my side. "Let her go, Ghost," he says calmly. "I need to examine her."

Ghost's hand releases my hair, and I slump to the ground, my body trembling with pain. The medic quickly assesses my condition, his fingers probing my ribs and head. I gasp as he touches a particularly tender spot, and he grimaces in sympathy.

"Well?" Ghost demands, his voice harsh. "What's the damage?"

The medic's face is grim. "Four broken ribs, a broken ankle, and significant head trauma. She's lucky her lungs aren't punctured."

Ghost's expression darkens. "She's lucky I don't finish the job."

The medic's eyes flash with anger, but he remains silent, his focus on me. "I need to get her to the infirmary," he says finally. "Now."

Ghost's gaze lingers on me, his eyes burning with a mix of anger and possession. But he nods, and the medic quickly scoops me up, carrying me away from Ghost's wrath.

König's Pov

I don't know why. But I want to protect her. Seeing her like that. And to think ghost did that to her.
I want her for myself I want to help her.
I don't know why but it makes me angry that everyone treats her like an animal just because she is a hybrid. She is still part human.
König walk to Price's office
and knocks on the door.

Come in Price calls.

König walks into Captain Price's office, his eyes cast down at the floor. "Good evening, sir," he says quietly.

"Hi, König, you may take a seat," Price replies, gesturing to a chair in front of his desk.

König sits down, fidgeting with his hands on his lap. "Sir, I want to talk to you about something," he starts, his voice hesitant.

"Go ahead," Price encourages, his expression serious.

"It's about Y/N, sir. I'm concerned. You heard what Ghost did to her," König says, his eyes still downcast.

Price nods gravely. "Yes, I did. What do you propose we do about it?"

König takes a deep breath. "I want to buy her from Ghost, sir. I have the money. I can give her a better life."

Price raises an eyebrow. "That's a big decision, König. Are you sure you're ready for that?"

König nods, his determination evident. "Yes, sir. I'm sure."

Just then, Saop walks in with Y/N's files in his hands. "Captain, you asked for these?"

Price nods. "Yes, Saop. Thank you. König here wants to buy Y/N from Ghost."

Saop's expression turns thoughtful. "That's a bold move, König. But I think it's a good idea. Ghost has always been...harsh in his methods."

Price nods in agreement. "Yes, and Y/N has been through enough. If König is willing to take on the responsibility, I say we let him try."

König's eyes light up with hope. "Thank you, sir. Thank you, Saop."

Price smiles. "Don't thank us yet, König. We still need to convince Ghost to sell her to you."

König nods, his determination unwavering. "I'll do whatever it takes, sir. I promise."

That's it for this Chapter. Sorry for taking so long to update
