~ Mercedes Third Person POV ~
A mass majority of the Northway Boys were in the basement of Octos Club. Mercedes began to make his way down there but as he was, he was approached by Zaza.
Zaza: I feel like I ain't seen you in forever.
Mercedes didn't pay much attention to her, he kept walking. Unfortunately, she started walking beside him.
Zaza: Earth to Mercedes?
Mercedes: Wassup, Za...
Zaza: So cold all of a sudden?
She gets in front of him.
Mercedes: Look I said wassup, ight? I ain't got time for this bullshit right now.
Zaza: What's got your panties in a bunch?
Mercedes: Shouldn't you be working? Why you worried bout me?
Zaza: Because I miss you, baby.
She tried to hug him but Mercedes avoided it.
Mercedes: We ain't doing that shit no more. Move on, Za.
Zaza: But-
Mercedes stopped listening to her and went down to the basement. Zaza huffed and rolled her eyes.

In the basement, the boys had a card game going while watching a basketball game. Mercedes went over and got a shot from Monét.
Monèt: Long day already?
She poured him a shot of Casamigos.
Mercedes nodded his head then downed the shot.
Mercedes: It's always something, you know.
Monét nodded in agreement. Faze walked over to Mercedes and dapped him up.
Faze: Wasgood, my boy.
Mercedes: Poppin, Faze.
Faze: How you feelin? You know with yo girl and all..
Mercedes: Doing the best I can, you know. Trying not to act off impulse as long as them niggas stay away from her, you heard.
Faze: Fasho.
Their attention was caught by the card players laughing at this one guy because he was out of the game.
Faze: Cedes, you know you my main manz right?
Mercedes: No doubt.
Faze: And I'd never decisive you. Ten toes behind my guys.
Mercedes: What's the problem, Faze?
Faze looked around for a specific someone but didn't see him.
Faze: You and Keed still cool?
Mercedes: Yeah, as far as I know. Why?
Faze: I don't know man. He just been seeming a lil bitchy lately when it comes to you.
Mercedes: What do you mean?
Faze: Well I feel like we all have noticed that you're actually stepping up to a new position eventually, more authority and decision making.
Mercedes nodded his head.
Faze: I don't know but I sense some jealousy. When Octo called on us to come see about you and your girl, he said some out of pocket shit.
Mercedes immediately got defensive.
