I look up to see my beloved walk into the room and continue to watch as she crawls up the bed to me. I place my papers on the nightstand opening my arms to her. She's been a little...clingy since Chase has been gone. It's understandable, she's not used to him not being here all the time or the feeling of the bond when all your mates aren't around. The hunter situation hasn't been handled yet so he's still at Cortes's pack working. He checks in on the daily though since he doesn't know how not to be overprotective.

She nods, "yeah, where's Lamb?"

"Right here" Liam says walking out the bathroom with nothing but a towel around his waist. He just came off a sixteen-hour shift.
