It was around 9pm now and no one had arrived at my house yet but Sai, I was kind of happy he was the first one here because it gave us time to catch up a little bit since yesterday..We were currently chillin in the living room, on the couch waiting for Mar,Da, and Tylia to arrive.
"Sooo how was your day?" I asked Sai
"It was cool. I was off today so I just ran a couple of errands. What about you?" He shrugged
"Well I went and got my nails done and talkedtoTylil but that was really it" I stated speeding past that last part
I didn't wanna hide the fact that I wanted to keep pursuing Tylil from Sailem, it just didn't feel right.
"What you mean you talked to him? Like texted him oorr?" He asked confused
"No, in person, he popped up on me at the nail shop" I shrugged
I can already tell this is not gonna end well.
"How the fuck he know you was at the nail shop? Yall been texting?" He raised
"No actually we haven't talked since the night of the football game..I don't even know how he found me honestly.."
"I wonder how the fuck he found out where you were.." He mumbled
"Ion like that.. I thought you said you weren't gonna talk to him no more.." He said raising an eyebrow
"Well I wasn't but then he popped up on me so I just gave in , I figured I would just entertain him until I found out if he knew anything about the robbery.." I said avoiding eye contact
"Gave in? What.. you like him or something?" Sailem asked mugging me
"I dunno Sai.."
"The fuck you mean you don't know Laylani? We robbed that nigga you can't get involved wit him" He stated raising his voice
"I know that. But I have never really liked anyone before so it's just kind of hard to walk away from it all of a sudden." I stated still avoiding Sailem's gaze
"Lani you known this nigga for what? 2 fucking days and you talking bout you cant walk away.." He scoffed before getting up off the couch
