The end of the day approached rather quickly. Time had slipped right past them, the quirk test taking an incredibly long time.
After getting back to the classroom everyone seemed distracted, conversing with one another, trying to get to know their classmates better. Emiko wasn't interested in doing so. As everyone was distracted, specifically Mina, she used this as her chance to slip away unnoticed.
"Hey! Emiko, where are you going!" Mina called out, her hand waving high in the air and directed towards the purple-haired whose foot was millimetres from the exit.
Emiko couldn't escape Mina. It had been like that since the beginning of the day. "Home," Emiko told her. She opened the door but was pulled back inside. And before she knew it, she was seated in Mina's seat, Mina sitting on the desk in front of her. And a couple of their classmates surrounding them.
"I- no, we want to get to know you better." Mina beamed leaning forwards. Her face was barely centimetres away from Emiko's, Emiko feeling Mina's hot breath tingling on the tip of her nose.
If anything, she had never felt more uncomfortable in her life. Especially since people were watching them. The biggest question was how was Mina so comfortable with a person she barely knew and met six hours ago. Because Emiko surely wasn't.
"Mina, I think you are too close to her." Kirishima let out a small chuckle as he watched the two girls, amusement glinting in his eyes.
"What, no, I'm not!" Mina protested, her head snapping towards him, ready to argue at that very moment. "Right, Emiko!" She received no response. "Emiko?"
Emiko was gone.
"Haha, I bet she ran away." Kaminari cackled, and Jiro snickered. Mina pouted and complained, Kirishima tried to comfort her but wasn't helping at all, laughing alongside his two other friends.
The first chance Emiko got she took. She bolted out of the classroom undetected. You could even say she was faster than Iida. Once she made it a far enough distance away, her sprint turned to a stroll.
She took her earphones out. Walking out of the institution, music blasted directly into her eardrums. Emiko wasn't picky with her music because as long as she got to listen to it, she was alright. In her parents' eyes, it distracted her from the important things. But she would disagree as it helped her get things done quickly.
Music wasn't her only interest. Cars were one. She didn't know the first thing when it came to music but she knew everything when it came to cars. Although she wasn't allowed to drive one legally that didn't stop her from learning how to. She had quite a few, though she wasn't allowed to drive them anywhere else but her property.
Emiko reached the entrance. Her transport waited for her outside of the school gates. Emiko opened the vehicle's door, sliding in and closing it, lowering the volume of her headphones after putting on her seatbelt.
"So how was your day, Ms?" Her chauffeur asked, pressing down on the clutch pedal, driving away from the school's entrance.
"It was good, thank you," Emiko answered politely, focused on the passing scenery outside.
"Good to hear that." He replied, smiling at her through the review mirror, then focused on the road ahead of them. This was where their conversation ended. Emiko turned her music back up and rested her head on the window, her eyes closed.

"Koko!" A high-pitched youthful voice called out to me as the front door opened. My eyes fell to the floor, knowing who it was. Running at full speed to me, my younger sister. Her name was Kumiko, and she was only five.
