Mr Aizawa gave them a brief rundown of what was left of today, as well as warning them ahead of tomorrow's training. He even asked them to carry their bags off the bus and had the audacity to ask them to hurry up. But of course, they listened because, at the end of the day, Mr Aizawa was still their teacher.
After chucking their bags into their rooms, not caring if anything in them was fragile, they quickly brought themselves to the hall. Emiko sat between Mina and Aoyama. As Mina began to talk to Sero who was behind them, Emiko decided to bring up small talk with the blonde next to her while she ate.
"So, are you actually French, or is it all an act?" Emiko questioned as she didn't have much to talk about with him. He was one of the classmates she barely knew anything about, only a name and face. But then again she too was the same to many others.
"Yes, I am mon amie. Twenty-five percent in fact! And I've travelled there every summer since elementary school! I practically live there!" He smiled, fluttering his long lashes.
"Do you really need to add simple phrases in French when you're speaking just to prove you're from there?" Emiko raised her brow, suspicious.
"I add them to bring flare to my sentences! They make them more sophisticated and sparkly, don't you think?" He asked but didn't leave time for Emiko to answer. "Now you tell me, is that purple hair real or dyed?"
"Real," Emiko answered.
"But I would expect you to have at least a strand of blonde with your quirk, half and half hair like Todoroki," Aoyama said, smirking.
"Well, I guess my genes overpowered my quirk genes. After all, my parents do have dark hair. Plus, I'm not split down the middle like he is." Emiko smiled.
"Oui, oui, I believe you!"
"There you go again..."

Mina ran as she jumped into the hot springs, water splashing on everyone. "This feels amazing!" Mina beamed, swimming around.
"I'm so glad this place has hot springs," Jiro said as she submerged herself into the water more gracefully than Mina.
"Yo, yo, Emiko! You getting in or what!?" Mina questioned, watching her best friend sit on the side, towel wrapped around her body, her hair tied up as she only dipped her feet in.
"No," Emiko bluntly told her, uninterested in any antics she was going to try to pull next.
"Awh, come on!" Mina huffed, turning to her with mischief in her eyes. "I want to see what's under that towel..." She began to make her way to Emiko, but before she could do anything, the purple-haired dropped herself into the water till it was neck high. She discarded her towel and covered herself with a cloud of shadows instead.
"You need serious help." Emiko sighed. "I'll speak to Mr Aizawa after this about putting you in a mental hospital," She commented, shaking her head.
"I do not!" Mina shrieked playfully as she slapped her hands on either side of her face. "You're going to pay for your words."
"Nuh-uh." Emiko disagreed. But was caught rather off guard when Mina tried to pounce on her, but Emiko kept her at bay, wrestling with her. It was clear who had strength on their side, but Mina relentlessly fought back.
"Could it kill you to behave for one moment, Ashido?" Momo sighed with disappointment at her classmate's behaviour.
"Calling me Ashido sounds too formal..." Mina pouted as she sat herself calmly next to Emiko. An idea popped up in her head. "How about all we girls go about with first name bases? There are only a few of us, so we're bound to get close at one point!"
