The first battle concluded. After a detailed response from Yaoyorozu to why Lida was the MVP of the round, which truly touched him, it was time for the second battle.
Emiko and Todoroki leaned on the railing outside of the building they were supposed to enter within the next five minutes. So far, neither had said anything to the other. It was known that both would rather keep to themselves and would not start a conversation first.
Emiko had her arms folded, her head hung low, and eyes closed. Todoroki was a couple metres away, his arms folded and legs crossed over. "You can stay outside. You don't need to do anything." Todoroki spoke, taking the initiative to speak first. Breaking the painful silence that had lasted up to three minutes. "I'll freeze the whole building, then touch the weapon."
"So I'm just going to sit outside and do nothing," Emiko concluded, her brow raised as she raised her head and opened her eyes, her gaze set on him.
"Can you handle the cold?" Todoroki questioned, a smug smile lacing his lips.
Emiko wanted to roll her eyes and laugh, but she kept herself composed. He acted like he was all that, yet his costume made him look like a crappy DC superhero cosplay. "Yes, I can." She told him sternly.
"Then go in and touch it," Todoroki instructed, his tone of voice making his words sound bossy.
"Look alive, show us you're the embodiment of good or evil!" All Might yelled in a booming voice. Both teams, hearing his ear bleeding, shout directly.
The fifteen-minute timer started. Each second ticking. "For your own safety, wait outside, you can go in when I'm done." He stated, walking away slowly and entering the office building. He pressed his palm softly to the wall, blue-coloured crystals coating the wall, and ice fractals spread throughout every surface. Not a single spot was left untouched.
He strolled out passing by Emiko. "Your turn."
Emiko remained silent. She removed herself from the railing and made her way into the building. She stepped carefully and the ice crunched beneath her feet, cracking at every slight movement. It was freezing, her jacket's thin material didn't help either. She refused to show that the extreme temperature was affecting her. It was Emiko against the cold.

"Those two are way too calm for a thing like this. It's like they already know they're going to win." Kaminari commented, watching the scene play out on the screen.
"That's because they are going to win. With or without a powerful quirk, they're already ahead of most of the class, so it's expected of them." Jiro responded.
"Ugh, why are half of the people here already pros!"

This was going to take quite a while. There were ten floors to the building. Emiko was tasked with searching all of them which would take quite some time. And in the time she would take Ojiro and Hagakure could break free once the ice had melted down. But that event was unlikely to happen, the building had turned into a human freezer in seconds.
Emiko raised her hand parallel to her body. A black-coloured mist escaped her palm and fingertips twisting and turning till it formed a human-like shape. It was tall, over seven feet. Its bones ridged and poked out of its skin-like cover and its pencil-like limbs stabbed into the ice below. Its face was similar to a three-year-old's drawing of his parents, horrifying. Its mouth, outstretched, and sunken eye sockets giving the illusion of having none. It was one of her favourite creations a shadow monster.
