The first Boyfriend

Some time had passed in the school year and I had gotten close to the boys but I had gotten really close to De'Anthony. He would call me his best friend all the time, but sometimes, I kinda wanted to be more than that. "YO BELLY!" I hear De'Anthony yell for me from across the quad. Oh god did he see me staring at him?! I mean who wouldn't! Look at those muscles! "Hey guys oh I'm who's that?" "That's Syion new girl" De'Anthony says as he puts his arm around my shoulders. After that shayn never told me what De'Anthony had said and every time I brought it up he would change the subject. After some time we were silent reading in ELA and me and De'Anthony were sitting next to each other and every time I would look at him I would see him talking to the boys.. at one point when I looked at him then the boys all I saw was the boys point at me and the De'Anthony would shake his head no nervously. "Ok what's going on?!" I whisper to him as I close my book. "Nothing!" "Obviously there's something" I see De'Anthony look at the boys and all I see the boys do is nod.
"Ok Belly.. I know you like me" oh my god ho my god I just wanna run out of the room right now "but hey listen. I like you to ok? Belly I like you" I look at him in shock. "Wait..you do?" "Yes!" "So Belly, will you be my girlfriend?" I just look at him frozen and I just say- "yes"
