After standing still for a moment longer, I decided to go to my room, where I would have to live for several long years. As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted by a bright living room with two sofas, a fireplace, and lots of plants. It made me want to spend as much time here as possible. Also, my two suitcases were in the room, which were probably brought here by Silva.
— Oh, here's our new roommate! — a voice sounded behind me.
I turned around and saw a girl with dark hair and dark eyes. She had two buns on her head and was dressed in a tracksuit. When our eyes met, her eyes briefly glowed with a purple color.
Is she scanning me or what?
— Hi, I'm Cassie, nice to meet you. And you are? — I said.
— Musa, — the girl stood for another moment, then the purple color in her eyes faded, and she smiled brightly.
We shook hands.
— Your roommate's name is Aisha, she's not here right now because she's the assistant director or something, — Musa turned and walked towards one of the doors leading to the living room. — Come on, here's your room, — she opened the door slightly, and I saw a nice and quite spacious room.
On the roommate's side, everything was neat and tidy. You could already tell a lot about her from this. My side, however, was empty, but that would change soon.
— Alright, thank you, I'll start unpacking! — after my words, the girl nodded and glanced towards my bed for a second. There was a hint of sadness on her face, and she left the room looking a bit downcast.
Does she feel sorry that I'm taking someone else's place?
Well, let's get to unpacking. It took about forty minutes, after which a girl entered the room. She looked quite strict, as if she were our supervisor.
— Hi, I'm Aisha, and you must be Cassiopeia? — she approached me and extended her hand.
— Hi, yes, I hope we won't be at each other's throats as roommates, haha, — I extended my hand too, and we shook hands.
She smiled at my words.
— I hope so. By the way, why didn't I see you in the hall? — she continued with a note of laughter, but the question created some tension between us.
— I decided to be a bit mischievous and took a walk in the garden.
— Haha, don't go there at night, sometimes there are wolves running around, — the girl turned and went to her bed, onto which she plopped down comfortably.
The wolf she mentioned, is that the blond guy?
— If you have any questions, feel free to ask, — came a voice from Aisha's bed.
— Yes, thank you.
I had just sat down on the bed when there was a knock on the door. I walked over and opened it. The same blond guy was standing behind it.
His appearance was striking. Tall and slender, with short, tousled blond hair that reminded me of summer sunshine. His eyes were bright blue, like a clear sky, and a mischievous smile played on his face, accentuating his sharp features. He was dressed in jeans and a light T-shirt that highlighted his athletic build.
