Brewing a disaster

I lazily headed downstairs to be warmly welcomed by none other Lily Evans.( Note the sarcasm)

She chucked a pillow hard enough to make me lose balance and then pushed me onto the floor. Lily let out a satisfied Hmph and walked out the common room. I rubbed my head and saw Remus crouching in the corner behind a book. When it was safe, he came out of the dark and approached me.

"What the bloody hell was that about!" I ask flabbergasted...and hurt.

"God James! Whatever you did last night really upset Lily. She's been throwing a tantrum on how immature and childish you are." Remus shook his head and walked out the door. Well this has been the weirdest mornng!

I walked down groggily to breakfast still rubbing that same throbbing spot on my head. I see Sirius talking to Remus and quickly run over to them.
"Hey guys, where's Peter?" Remus points next to me and I see Lily and Peter muttering something furiously. What did I do to her that made her so mad at me? Well..madder than usual. I decide that I'll just pester her till she comes clean.
"Hey Peter. Lily."I nod. Her scarlet red hair sweeps over her shoulders to reveal her bright emerald eyes.
"Hey James!" Peter excitedly greets. I wave him off and turn back to Lily.
"Evans what's wrong? I couldn't have possibly made you sad now could I?" I made puppy dog eyes but she just snarls and turns back to her conversation with Peter.
I felt a hand go on my shoulder and pat it comfortably but it was a bit shaky. I turn around and see Sirius trying to make me feel better but at the same time trying not to laugh. I roll my eyes and dig into my breakfast.
Everyone starting making conversations but I tuned out. My eyes wander around the great hall till I see a pair of brown eyes. Then I hear a familiar giggle. Smirking, I walked over to her. Shoulders back and chest high, I moves my shoulders and walked over. James style.

"Well hello my lady." I bend down low. Obviously she giggles.
"Hey James. Still meeting at the lake at lunch?" I quirk an eyebrow then remember about last night. I feel a pair of eyes burning into the back of my skull and turn around. Lily quickly put her head down and pretended to eat her food. A huge grin spreads across my face. I sense a plan...
" Yeah sure if I'm not too busy you know." I answer cooly. Genevieve giggles AGAIN. I roll my eyes and continue making conversation with her.

LILYS POV
I watch as James walked over to that Genevieve girl. I don't understand why I feel like this, after all I did reject him. I guess I feel like there's something weird about Gen...
A head quickly darts towards me, Our eyes lock for half a second. Startled I hang my head low hoping he wouldn't notice. Head still hanging low, I feel my eyes wander up towards them. James had a large grin the size of a Cheshire Cat. Argh...still so cocky. His head turned back to Gens and continues talking.
"LILYYYY"
"Huh what?" I snap out of my trance and see Peter waving a hand in front of my face.
"Are you ok? I've been waving and clicking for like 5 minutes now!" Peter exclaims in his high squeaky voice.
"Yeah...I'm gonna go to class", I mumble and head back to the dormitories to get my books. I hear people run past me.
Potions next. Yes! Something to keep my mind off of. I begin jogging back to the Gryffindor common room, excited for my lesson. Professor Slughorn is a little wacky but he is a wonderful teacher.
"Knarglepuffs" I mutter. The portrait swings open and I am welcomed by the warm atmosphere of Gryffindor.
I walk in about to head up to the girls dormitories when I hear giggles. Ah...giggles of Gen. My head darts towards the source of the sound and that's when I see James and Genevieve in the corner about to lean in for a kiss.
I gasp and quickly retrieve a pillow.
"Ow!" James got hit by my pillow and butted heads with Gen who was crying now. He was rubbing his forehead furiously. That's when I think James realised where the pillow was thrown from. A sudden wave of realisation hits me and I try unlock the door to the girls dormitories. I jiggles the handle, obviously panicking, when i hear footsteps behind me.
"I think you just pull the handle down and push..." The person whispers into my hear. I feel the hot breath on my neck which sends shivers down my spine. I follow the persons instructions and push open the door. Sweat drips down from my forehead. What will he do to me!
"T-tha-thanks.." I mutter nervously. I feel him nod, so I took the opportunity to dash back inside the girls dormitories. My back slams against the wall and I slowly slide down. That was way too close.
